Joseph Richard Bagshawe R.B.A. (1870-1909) "Cobbles at Staithes"] Oil on canvas, 36cm by 53cm (14in by 21in) *Provenance. With Walker Galleries Ltd, 6 Montpellier Gardens, Harrogate HG1 2TF *Exhibited at the Joseph Richard Bagshawe, 15th-22nd October 1983, catalogue no. 4 the work is accompanied with the original exhibition catalogue where the above example was illustrated in black and white. It is also accompanied with a certificate of authentication dated 14th October 1983 and numbered "004", the certificate is signed by J.H. Walker and S. Bagshawe (granddaughter of the artist). Also sold with a photocopy of the Yorkshire Weekly Post dated Saturday April 30th 1910 with the obituary of the artist and further details from the Antique Trade Gazette highlighting the 1983 exhibition.
