A 19th century Japanese Meiji period lacquered inro decorated in raised relief with sleeping man on a chest, the reverse with two figures and an animal on a nashi speckled ground, signed, together with a carved double gourd shaped betel nut netsuke, inro 8 cm x 7 cm CONDITION REPORTS Some wear, scuffs and dirt, some small chips. Some cracks to the lacquer and several cracks to the bottom corners. Double gourd netsuke with large chip to one section, and with cracks and discolouration to ivory.
