A Japanese ivory Netsuke, circa 1880, carved as Hotei seated upon his sack of treasures, signed, 3.5 cm long, CONDITION REPORT: The staining by his armpit is purely dirt and not glue. He is missing his left hand. He has been holding something in his right hand which is also missing. Underneath his right arm there is a very fine crack which has brown staining in it akin to that on the upper side by his armpit. I do not believe this to be glue as there is no sign of a break across the top of the shoulder. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT SEND IVORY ITEMS OUTSIDE THE EU
