An early 20th century Japanese carved ivory netsuke of a man seated beside a large Daruma doll, height 2.5cm, length 3cm, and an early 20th century Japanese carved ivory netsuke of a boy beating a hand drum, height 4cm.Additional InformationWhere the drum attaches to the boy there is a section which has been reglued and this is rather unsightly. Natural staining throughout and a couple of cracks commensurate with age.
A good and large Japanese Meiji period carved ivory netsuke modelled as a group of figures, signed to red rectangular plaque to the base, height 6cm, width 7cm. Provenance: the property of a Worcestershire gentleman. Additional InformationSome natural colour change to the ivory commensurate with age, a 3mm hairline crack running through one of the base holes but overall an excellent example.
