A GROUP OF CERAMICS AND SUNDRY ITEMS, to include a boxed Royal Worcester 'A Hero Comes Home' limited edition character jug, a Royal Doulton 'Fair Lady' HN2193 figurine, a Moorland Pottery art deco style conical sugar sifter, a boxed 1997 royal commemorative Bell's whisky decanter, a Jameson Irish Whiskey jug, nursery ware including a Staffordshire Potteries Ltd 'Ken Dodd's Diddymen 1970' cup and two Wedgwood Peter Rabbit cups, a netsuke in the form of mice in fruit and a similar piece depicting two rodents climbing on a bird cage, etc (18 + 2 boxes) (Condition Report: most pieces appear in good condition, there are a couple of tiny cracks in the base of the birdcage, pair of vases have a little glaze loss, sd to Worcester box)
JAPANESE SHOWA OR HEISEI PERIOD IWAMI BOAR TUSK NETSUKE, 20th century, Carved to one side with a scaly dragon emerging from scrolling clouds, the reverse with a short sword the beast holds in its claws; signed Umikichi/Umiyoshi and with a red seal mark reading 'Yo', length: 10.4 cm; with a tomobako wood box inscribed 'I no ga netsuke, kenryu, Umikichi saku' (A boar’s tooth netsuke, with the design of a sword and dragon, made by Umikichi / Umiyoshi), with the seal 'Yo', box length: 12.1 cmGeneral surface wear commensurate with age. Three cracks to the tusk on the widest side, longest crack approx. 3 cm. Multiple small cracks across the dragon's head.
