He published several books including: "A Background to Chinese Painting" published 1935, "Chinese Archaic Jades in the British Museum" 1951, "Ming Pottery & Porcelain" 1953 etc.The interior of one section is quite worn.One section has residue from reaction with lacquer.The compartments open and close easily.Two end ones are a little loose.A few small chips to sides.Rubbing to gilding on end compartment.Crack visible where cap joins end sections.
