AN ART DECO EMERALD AND DIAMOND RING, the square cut emerald claw and collet set between tapering triangular shaped shoulders each set to the centre with a triangular cut emerald highlight set within a surround of eleven round mixed diamond highlights, all set in an open pierced scroll detail mount between fine tapering shoulders. Ring size J 1/2. Weight 2.5gms. CONDITION REPORTThe square cut emerald measures approximately 5.84mm width x 3.26mm depth. Bright bottle green in colour with numerous visible natural dark and light flaws throughout. Numerous visible surface scratches and small chips. The triangular emerald highlights are well matched similar dark bottle green with visible natural dakrand light inclusions throughout. Total weight of the diamonds approximately 0.22 carats. Estimated colour I/J. Estimated clarity SI. The mount is in good condition with only superficial surface marks and scratches in keeping with general wear. Overall a good show.

Stamped 18CT PLAT and signed Asprey. In an Asprey outer box. Length approximately 9cm. Weight 6.8gms.
AN EMERALD AND DIAMOND PENDANT, the square cut emerald four claw set to the bottom of three brilliant cut claw set diamonds, all suspending from a fixed split oval bale, suspending from a curb link chain with lobster catch. Mount stamped 750. Chain stamped 9CT. Length 45cm. Weight 13.6gms; and a pair of emerald and diamond earrings, the square cut emerald four claw set raised within a surround of twelve brilliant cut claw set diamonds, all set in an open mount on screw post and scroll fittings. Mounts stamped 750. Total weight 20.6gms. CONDITION REPORTThe emerald to the pendant measures approximately L 9.01mm x W 7.94mm x D 6.69mm. The emeralds to the earrings measure approximately L 7.26mm x W 6.17mm x D 4.96mm.All are well matched mid to dark bottle green with good colour saturation and depth. All have many visible natural dark and light inclusions throughout, however none reaching the surface. Good surface condition.Total weight of the diamonds approximately 1.02 carats. Estimated colour I/J.Estimated clarity SI 2/3. Overall in very good condition.
AN EMERALD AND DIAMOND RING, the oval mixed cut yellow coloured diamond eight claw set between two rectangular mixed cut emeralds each eight claw set, all in pierced mounts between pierced detail tapering shoulders on a plain band. Stamped 18CT PLAT. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 2.7gms. CONDITION REPORTThe yellow coloured diamond weighs approximately 0.50 carats.The diamond is an even mid yellow with brown overtones, with good colour saturation. Minor but visible dark natural inclusions. Each emerald measures approximately L 4.45mm x W 3.51mm x D 2.54mm and L 4.80mm x W 3.55mm x D 2.59mm. Both are well matched light bottle green, each with evidence of zoning and both with natural visible dark and light inclusions, however none reaching the surface. The smaller emerald with a chip to the facet edge.
Used collection in two stockbooks from 1907 Large Canoes to around 1975, also a few later issues from late 1980s until 1991, appears quite comprehensive for period, although with few varieties, better items incl 1907 'Large Canoes' to 1s bright purple, 1908-11 'Small Canoes' lightly duplicated to 5s green/yellow, incl three of each 2s, 2s 6d and 5s, 1913 to 11d dull purple and scarlet incl 11d in plate 1 block of 6, 1914-23 MCA to £1 purple and black/red, incl two each of 2s to £1, 1916 Oswald Marsh philatelic cover with values to 1s, 1922-31 script to 10s green and red/emerald, 1940 postage dues to 1s 6d and 1956-63 to £1, condition mostly fine (Few Hundreds)
