A soudé emerald and diamond three stone ring, the oval mixed-cut composite green stone claw set between two old-cut diamonds, white precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.30ct, ring size N½Patchy glue residue visible to soudé emerald, with scuffs, nicks and chips to surface of stone. Diamonds are fairly well matched and lively, with variable facet symmetry, both the stones have slight facet edge abrasion and scattered chips and nicks to the girdle, estimated SI2 to P1 clarity and J to K colour, assessed mounted. The mount has considerable wear, with scuffs/scratches and chips, and solder joins/repairs to the shoulders and to the tips of the claws. The lower half of the shank appears to be replaced and has solder joins at the junctions with the shoulders. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 3gm.
An emerald and diamond crossover ring, obliquely claw set with a rectangular step-cut emerald with canted corners and a round brilliant-cut diamond, between millegrained shoulders of graduated single-cut diamonds, two colour precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.35ct, ring size KThe emerald contains multiple fissure and fracture inclusions, some that are surface-reaching, and has areas of cloudy transparency. The emerald has abrasion, chips, nicks and scuffs/scratches and measures approximately 4.5mm length x 4mm width x 3.4mm depth. The principal diamond is lively but contains small dark mineral inclusions and is chipped to the girdle, with estimated J to K colour and P1/P2 clarity, assessed mounted. Shoulder set diamonds have variable colour and clarity, some stones with dark mineral inclusions or chips and surface-reaching fractures. The mount has general surface wear, with chips, nicks and scuffs throughout. The claws have patchy wear and some may require re-tipping. There is also thinning to the back of the shank. Metal standard is untested. Approximate gross weight only 2.1gm.
An emerald and diamond panel ring, the principal transitional-cut diamond in millegrain collet setting, within a quatrefoil-shaped border of similarly set modified step and mixed-cut emeralds, bordered by graduated single and brilliant-cut diamonds, above a scrolled gallery, white precious metal mounted, numbered 3153, with French dog's head mark for platinum and lozenge-shaped maker's mark, principal diamond weight approximately 0.65ct, total diamond weight approximately 1.10ct, ring size JThe principal diamond measures approx. 5.5mm diameter x 3.6mm depth and has a bright and lively appearance, with estimated VS1 to VS2 clarity and J to K colour, assessed mounted. Bordering diamonds have slightly variable colour and clarity, some stones with small chips/nicks and fractures, but give an overall bright and lively appearance, estimated VS1 to P1 clarity and H to K colour, assessed mounted. At least two of the diamonds are later brilliant-cut replacements. These diamonds graduate from approximately 0.015ct to 0.005ct each in size. Emeralds are well matched, most containing fracture/fissure inclusions, with scuffs, nicks and small chips to the surface, commensurate for use. The setting and mount have signs of general wear, with some areas of thinning at the edges of the setting, and solder joins visible at the junctions of the setting to the shank. The shank has a re-sizing solder join. Marks are fairly clearly struck, although the maker's mark is difficult to distinguish. Panel dimensions approx. 1.65cm length x 1.57cm width. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 4.6gm.
An Art Deco emerald and diamond line bracelet, the principal octagonal step-cut emerald in millegrain collet setting, to a graduated and articulated bracelet of similarly set old-cut diamonds and smaller step-cut emeralds, each setting with engraved gallery, to a larger cushion-shaped old-cut diamond set clasp, two colour precious metal mounted, in fitted gilt tooled leather case, principal emerald dimensions approximately 6.7mm length x 6.5mm width x 3.5mm depth, principal diamond weight approximately 1ct, remaining total diamond weight approximately 2.90ct, bracelet length 16.1cmAccompanied by a report issued by Gemmological Certification Services, stating that the principal emerald is of Colombian origin, with insignificant indications of clarity enhancement, report no. 5783-191, dated 1 November 2022 The principal emerald has a vibrant light to mid green hue and contains multiple fracture/fissure inclusions, some of which are surface-reaching, but retains good transparency. The emerald has surface wear, small chips and nicks. The smaller emeralds are slightly paler in hue and more heavily included with fractures, fissures, minerals etc, some of which are surface-reaching. These emeralds have a similar degree of surface wear. The principal diamond is bright and lively but contains a surface-reaching fracture inclusion and has a yellowish tint, with estimated K to L colour and P1 clarity, assessed mounted. Principal diamond dimensions approx. 6.3mm length x 5.7mm width x 3.4mm depth. The remaining diamonds are mostly well matched, bright and lively, with variable facet symmetry, some stones with small chips or surface-reaching fractures, estimated I to L colour and VS1 to P1 clarity, assessed mounted. These diamonds graduate from approximately 0.25ct to 0.05ct in size.The bracelet mount have general surface wear, scuffs and chips/nicks throughout, commensurate for age and use. Some of the settings have patchy dark discolouration and slight thinning to the edges. The bracelet graduates from 7.3mm to 3mm in width. Metal standard is untested and the bracelet appears to be unmarked. The clasp and safety catch are currently functioning. Gross weight approx. 13gm.The fitted case is in worn condition.
