Fine large late Victorian diamond and gem set novelty brooch in the form of a bee, the central cluster comprising an oval cabochon star ruby surrounded by old cut diamonds, the wings with pavé set old cut diamonds and the domed body set with bands of rubies, emeralds and sapphires alternating with bands of old cut diamonds, all in silver and gold setting, mounted en tremblant to the brooch fitting, 40mm x 30mm CONDITION REPORT Very good condition. All the stones would appear to be original to the piece. The diamonds are all lively well matured stones of reasonably good colour and clarity. Minor chips to two emeralds. One small emerald at the base is possibly a replacement stone and may not be an emerald. The brooch fitting was possibly originally designed to be detachable and has possibly been adapted to be en-tremblant, associated fire staining/solder. Very well made, total gram weight approx 11.4grams

Probably made/ converted from stick pins to earrings

Group of ten gold and gem set dress rings - various, to include rose gold coral and seed pearl ring, Victorian turquoise ring, sapphire and diamond cluster ring and others CONDITION REPORT Coral and seed pearl ring - hallmarked 9ct rose gold, London 1987, ring size R½, very good condition, 2.5 grams gross. Turquoise ring - very good condition, circa 1900, ring size O½, no hallmarks / marks, possibly 15 or 18ct, 2.3 grams gross. Sapphire and diamond cluster ring - size K½, fair condition, stamped '18ct' on shank, single cut diamonds, circa 1930, 2 grams gross, wear on gallery due to a wedding band. Modern 9ct gold three stone turquoise ring - size P, London Import 1993, approximately 3.5 grams gross. Opal doublet ring - 9ct, London 1979, size K½, approximately 2.2 grams gross. Amethyst three stone ring - maker's mark S & S but no hallmarks, probably 18ct rose cut diamond accents to the claws, good condition, size O½, 3.8 grams gross. Five stone ring - probably blue sapphires, not hallmarked but stamped '18ct', size M, 3.8 grams gross. Ruby and diamond ring - probably circa 1900 - 1910, stones very worn, not hallmarked, size L, 1.3 grams. 9ct emerald and diamond half eternity ring - one stone missing, size O, 2 grams. Carved cameo ring - size O, stamped '9ct', 2 grams gross

Antique pearl necklace with a string of graduated pearls (not tested for natural origin) on an antique emerald and diamond cluster clasp CONDITION REPORT Largest pearl measures approximately 7.5mm long x 7.3mm wide, smallest pearl measures approximately 2.8mm. The pearls have NOT been tested for natural origin and it is for any prospective bidder / purchaser to form their own opinion as to whether the pearls are natural, cultured or even a mix of both. Clasp measures approximately 10.5mm diameter, comprises ten old cut diamonds approximately 2.5mm diameter, each emerald is damaged, silver collet setting on gold. Total gross weight approximately 16.3 grams. Approximately 365mm long. Needs re-stringing
