An Art Deco Style Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Ring, the central emerald-cut yellow sapphire within a border of round brilliant cut diamonds, in white claw, millegrain and rubbed over settings, to a tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.55 carat approximately, finger size O1/2 see illustration. The ring is in good condition. It is stamped 'PLAT' and in our opinion would test as platinum. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 4.7 grams. CR made 13.04.21.

A Diamond Five Stone Ring, the central emerald-cut diamond flanked by graduated step cut diamonds, in white claw and rubbed over settings, to a tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.50 carat approximately, finger size K1/2 see illustration. The ring is in good condition. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. The central diamond measures 6.06mm x 5.69mm x 3.92mm. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 3.5 grams. CR made 28.01.21.

Joyce Butler Nee Platt (mid 20th century) Portrait of Miss Florence Rawson, ***, daughter of J Rawson FRCS, Surgeon in Bradford, half length seated wearing an emerald green velvet dress with a red flower pinned in her hair Signed and dated 1940, extensively inscribed verso, oil on canvas, 66.5cm by 53cm CONDITION REPORT: in obstensively good and origiinal condirtion. slight buckle to left hand corner, covered in a layer of dirt and diwscoloured varnsh. there are a small amount of minor scuffs scratches and abrasions withing the background above the ladies left hand shoulder. there is further small losses /rubbing following the texture of the canvas within the lower parts of her shawl on right hand side. two patches of paint slightly abover her waist and within her chest area slightly incongrious but seem to be entiirely original. other minor and isolated areas of craqueleur and superficial losses in line with the texture of the paiint to lower left hand corner. subtle diagonal line to canvas in upper left hand area. not examined under UV
