A VERY LARGE SANCAI-GLAZED PAIR OF BUDDHIST LIONS, QINGChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Both seated on high rectangular bases and entirely covered in lustrous emerald-green, aubergine, and amber yellow glaze. The fierce lions with deeply incised curly manes, a prominent urna on their foreheads, one holding his paw above a brocade ball and the other above a cub. Note the fine detail to their belts with suspended bells and central lion mask. Condition: Superb condition with minor wear and no restoration whatsoever. Minor hairlines here and there as well as chips and small losses. Provenance: North American trade. Dimensions: Height 101 cm each

Carved in high relief through the emerald-green layer to the bubble suffused milky white ground, depicting the design of double-gourds and beans on leafy vines to the main sides, flanked by mask and ring handles on the narrow sides.Condition: Good condition with minor wear, minuscule nibbling to the lip, manufacturing irregularities, a chip to one vine, and a dent to the metal collar of the stopper. A TRIBAL AFGHAN MULTI-STRAND SILVER NECKLACE WITH GLASS INSETS, c. 1950sAfghanistan, mid-20th century. Consisting of a silver chain divided into three strands, between the first and second strand are silver coins, between the second and third are circular beads with hemispherical domes, three inset with red and emerald glass; and hanging from the third strand are several chains with pendant rhombus-shaped and oval-shaped capsules.Condition: Good condition with expected traces of use and wear. Provenance: Romy Rey Collection, London. Romy Rey (1938-2020) was born in Zurich, Switzerland, studied in Paris and Geneva, and settled in London in the 1960s. She shared her life with the artist Brian Davies (1942-2014), in London and in Southern France. Romy was an avid traveler and dedicated collector of tribal art. Bond (Daniel Craig) visited the Floating Dragon casino in Macau in search of information about assassin Patrice (Ola Rapace).These three plastic casino chips feature emerald and gold-color patterns throughout and text reading "FLOATING DRAGON" and "MACAU." The black chip has a HK$100,000 denomination, the purple chip has a HK$50,000 denomination, and the burgundy chip has a HK$10,000 denomination. Both exhibit some bubbling around the edges and scratching throughout from production use.
