The principal diamond and one of the outer diamonds have bluish fluorescence under LWUV. Principal diamond dimensions approximately 7.8mm length x 5.5mm width (depth unknown due to setting). The mount and setting have general surface wear, with scuffs and nicks/chips. The shank has been re-sized and has two associated solder joins. Metal standard is untested and the mount is indistinctly stamped '10%'. Width of setting 14.6mm. Height of setting 7.3mm. Gross weight approximately 5.7gm.
An emerald panel brooch, naturalistically modelled as an undulating feather, with textured decoration, highlighted with a line of graduated circular mixed-cut emeralds, 18ct two colour gold mounted, with London import marks for 1963, length 6.4cmEmeralds have slightly variable light to mid hues, most stones containing fracture, fissure and mineral inclusions, some of which are surface-reaching. Emeralds have surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips and graduate from approximately 2.5mm to 1mm in diameter. The brooch mount has surface wear, scuffs and nicks, with small areas of solder that are presumed to be part of manufacture. The clasp is functioning. Marks have light wear. Gross weight approximately 8.8gm.

Principal diamond dimensions approx. 9.8mm length x 7.2mm x 4.9mm depth. Shoulder set diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, estimated VS2 to SI1 clarity and H to J colour, assessed mounted. The ring mount has general surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips, with some rubbing to the sides of the setting gallery and to the sides of the shank, and is likely to be mid 20th century in date. A diamond and emerald 18ct gold three stone ring, the central rectangular cut emerald with round cut diamond to each side set in white metal and 18ct yellow gold setting, total emerald weight estimated 0.40 carats, total diamond weight estimated 0.20 carats, ring size P, stamped for CG&S, Birmingham 1976, 3gms Condition report: The claws to the emerald are a little low, may need re-tipping at some point in the future.The ring would also benefit from a clean. No split, cracks or repairs visible to the shank. Hallmarks are crisp and clear. General wear seen to the gold where it has been worn and used. Emerald has visible inclusions seen with x10 loupe but is a good green colour. A few nibbles are seen to facet edges and general rubbing seen to the table.

There is also a surface-reaching fracture to one side of the table. One diamond has a small chip to the girdle.
