A single row graduated pearl necklace, the pearls graduate from 1.8 to 5.6mm. With an emerald and diamond set white gold clasp. With report from G.M.Jones number 0903/37 stating that with the exception of the two marked cultured pearls, all are natural. Clasp has been replaced since the report was done, and some pearls removed.
An Edwardian diamond and emerald plaque brooch pendant, millegrain set with a line of five circular cut diamonds. With an open work scroll mount set with smaller diamonds and calibre cut emeralds. Suspended from a hinged diamond and emerald set bow with detachable diamond set open work neck chain.
An antique gold and gem-set eternity ring, possibly Roman with nine rub-over settings, two vacant and seven inset with gems including sapphire, emerald and garnet, size J 1/2. Together with a label attached on which is written `Ring dug up in excavating foundations of Royal Exchange, (considered to be Roman) set with emeralds, garnets and sapphire, one only supposed to be a blue spinel, is cut in pyramidal fashion. This was worn by Lady Tate , wife of Sir William Tate, the architect of The Royal Exchange and was exhibited to the members of the Archeological Institute March 7th 1862, Tide p. 172. vol XIX of proceedings of that institute. On the reverse of the label is written `Sir William Tate was my great Uncle and this ring descended to my sister Bertha who gate it into my keeping February 1918. Signed `Alfred James. Feb 25. 1918.`
