An Edwardian emerald, pearl and diamond-set broochthe elaborate openwork bow and ribbon design set to the centre with a rectangular cut-cornered emerald suspending an ovoid emerald collet drop and set throughout with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds and five pearls (untested)width 4.0cm, depth 3.1cm, 5.7gCondition: A beautiful piece, with lovely movement, in very good overall condition. Both emeralds of good colour, well matched. Rectangular emerald with a few typical inclusions, ovoid almost inclusion-free. Both set within yellow gold collets Pearls (untested) white, well matched with good/reasonable lustre: one drop drilled through, one slightly Baroque with minor blemishes. Diamonds, as far as cuts allow, with good colour and clarity. Brooch fitting possibly as replacement.
