1997 Lti Fairway Transmission: automaticMileage:289378The London Taxi Company was a taxi design and manufacturing company based in Coventry, England. It formerly traded as London Taxis International and Carbodies. Over 130,000 London black cabs have been produced at the London Taxi Company's Coventry site over the past 60 years. Annual production averaged between 2000 and 2500 units per year. Around two-thirds of production goes into London via a dealership in Islington. In February 1989 the Fairway was introduced. It was fitted with a 2664cc Nissan TD27 engine which made the FX4 a faster and more reliable cab. It had full wheelchair accessibility, in line with a new law that came into force in January 1989. The Fairway was the best version of the FX4 ever built and enabled LTI to sell to overseas markets, as well as move into provincial UK markets they had not been able to tackle. Much of this increase in sales was due to local authorities insisting on wheelchair accessible cabs being used in their areas.Powered by the bullet proof and highly desirable 2.7 litre Nissan diesel engine, mated to an automatic gearbox, this ‘low mileage’ Fairway was sign-written to promote the 2012 London Olympic Games, looking great in the design. All the usual attributes associated with a London black cab are still present, including the famous TAXI orange light which adorns the roof and is in working order, as well as an advert to a West End show on the fold down seats.  Supplied with its UK V5C logbook, owner’s manual, MoT test certificates, other paperwork and tools.Great fun, practical and a real headturner, you can’t get much better than an original London Taxi! All that’s left to say is “where to mate”?Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2006 Porsche Cayman S Transmission: automaticMileage:49575First launched in the 2006 model year, the Cayman is a coupé derived from Porsche's second and third generation Boxster roadster, styled in its first iteration by Pinky Lai. All Caymans were manufactured in Finland by Valmet Automotive. The car is not named after the Cayman Islands. Both the car and the islands are named after the caiman, a member of the alligator family. When the Cayman arrived at dealerships for sale, the automaker adopted four caimans at Stuttgart's Wilhelma Zoo.This sleek looking Porsche has recently benefitted from a service and presents well in metallic grey with black leather interior. This low mileage 2006 example was imported into the UK in December 2019 and underwent the required light changes. The car is offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a valid MoT test certificate. It is powered by a 3.4 litre flat six engine and mated to and electronically controlled five-speed automatic Tiptronic gearbox and we are informed that this Porsche is a joy to drive.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2001 Porsche Boxster S Tiptronic Transmission: automaticMileage:36580The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat, six-cylinder engine. Harm Lagaay's design, inspired by the 356 Speedster and 550 Spyder, stimulated a commercial turnaround for Porsche. Many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while in the 911, rear-engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near-perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and the base model received a more powerful 2.7 litre engine. In 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. Production of the 986 began at the former Porsche 928 facility in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996. The Boxster was Porsche's biggest volume seller from its introduction in 1996 until the company introduced the Cayenne sport utility vehicle in 2003.This example is presented in silver with a blue leather interior and comes with the desirable factory option of a hardtop. It is the S version Tiptronic which is powered by the smooth 3.2 litre mated to a five-speed gearbox. There is some service history with the car, with the last service being carried out by the present owner in July 2021 by CMD Porsche. The car is in good condition throughout and has covered only a mere 36,580 miles from new. This is a great entry to the Porsche marque providing much fun with good performance.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1989 MG Montego EFI Transmission: manualMileage:31402Produced by British Leyland and latterly the Rover Group between 1984 and 1995, the Montego started life as a four-door hatchback. The high-performance MG version was offered using a 2.0 litre engine and used the solid-state instrument cluster, trip computer, and synthesised voice for the information and warning systems. Essentially a Maestro with a boot, a total of 34,476 2.0i cars were produced with a further 7,276 Turbo’s, survivors now being very scarce. This rare MG Montego EFi has the 1994cc fuel injected straight-four engine and manual five-speed gearbox. Finished in complementary white with grey cloth interior, the EFi has only covered an incredibly low 31,402 miles from new. First registered in May 1989, the condition of the car is remarkable and must be seen to be believed. Not only is the condition of the car incredibly good and the mileage very low, the car also boasts being supplied with all of its original booklets and guides, as well as servicing invoices from its life. The vendor describes the car as outstanding and a pleasure to drive with everything working as you would hope.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, all of its booklets, (including its fully stamped service booklet), old invoices and spare key. Perhaps not your obvious classic, but an important part of British automotive history and in a condition second to none, this is a rare opportunity to own a time warp condition example.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2002 Porsche 911 / 996 Targa Transmission: manualMileage:85235The 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core. The Targa models now featured a full glass and electronically operated roof. The 996 was another step forward for Porsche, making cars that not only excited their fan base but appealed to those who wanted a comfortable and practical everyday sports car that could sprint to 60 mph in a shade over five seconds.Originally registered on 29th June 2002 this 996 Targa is owned by a fastidious and knowledgeable collector, the car has always been well cared for. The striking paintwork on this handsome Porsche has to be seen to be appreciated. Officially known as Ocean Blue the paintwork almost changes colour in the sunlight and has a deep metallic finish to it. The interior of the car is contrasting grey leather. With great ergonomics this six-speed manual gearbox Porsche is a treat to drive, the exhaust note emitting from the Dansk sports exhaust is fantastic. Offered for sale at a realistic estimate given the condition and taking into account it has a Targa roof for those rare but thoroughly enjoyable sunny days. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 20th February 2022. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 122

1989 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:157117These fabulous sports cars were unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1977 and voted Car of the Year for 1978. It was intended as an upmarket replacement for the long-running 911 but in the event Porsche's rear-engined classic would outlive its younger sibling. The front-engined 928's stylish hatchback body featured aluminum doors, bonnet and front wings in the interests of weight saving, while ingenious impact resistant 'bumpers' made of colour matched plastic were incorporated into the nose and tail. A five-speed transaxle gearbox or three-speed automatic were the transmission options, in 1979 the 928S with its 4.6 litre engine arrived and then in 1986 the model was further revised and restyled, becoming the 928 S4. Its engine producing 320bhp courtesy of twin-cam, 16 valve cylinder heads and enlargement to 4,957cc, the S4 enjoyed a welcome top speed boost to 160mph.This wonderful looking example was supplied new by official Porsche Centre Charles Follett Ltd, London in March 1989 and is presented in blue over a blue leather interior. The paintwork is in good order as is the interior which shows a light patina from general use over the years. In 2019, the 928 was fitted with a set of Continental tyres at a cost of £468 and in 2020 it was treated to an annual service by Oakhurst Garage. The Porsche maintenance booklet shows 29 service stamps undertaken by either Porsche main dealer or independent specialists and it has recently been treated to a fresh MoT with no advisories valid until September 2022. Offered without reserve, this superb looking 928 is a fantastic opportunity to acquire an S4 variant of the coveted 928 model. Interested parties should note that this vehicle is currently registered in Jersey and as such a 6% import tax will be due if registered in the UK. ?Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 127

1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche Transmission: automaticMileage:50434One of just 1,108 fixedhead coupés built, the Corniche was announced just two weeks after Rolls-Royce entered receivership, initially sporting the rather long-winded title ‘Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward two door fixedhead coupé’. Corniche production began in Willesdon, London during 1971 two years before the aero business was separated from the car division and Rolls Royce Motors was born. The Corniche name was also attached to the Bentley version, assembled at Mulliner Park Ward, that later became the Continental. The Corniche model was first registered by Rolls-Royce Ltd in 1939 and was applied to a high-performance derivative of the Bentley MK.V which failed to see production due to the outbreak of World War II. The name taken from three roads that run between the sea and mountains along the French Riviera featuring the name ‘Corniche’ a part of the world that drew Sir Henry Royce most winters where he carried out much of his design work at his home in Le Canadel. This fixedhead coupé version was only produced for ten years between 1971 and 1981. Later examples benefitted from the much improved styling changes from 1976 including larger rear arches and more modern looking bumpers. Mechanically, upgrades included uprating the twin SU carburettor set up to a four-barrel Solex unit in 1975 with the model also enjoying firmer independent self-levelling suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, alloy radiator and oil cooler plus bi-level air conditioning from 1977.This example was registered in March 1978 and built to updated specification verified by the factory build and inspection sheets dated from July 1977 which are included in the extremely comprehensive history file. The original dealer pack plus bills of sale confirm the car was delivered to Lex Mead in Maidenhead in the January where an alarm was fitted to ‘Eleanor’ its Silver Lady. Other options taken included the Lucas fog lights (which remain today with covers) and “Sundym” glass, slightly tinted promising more glare reduction than privacy. First owner Mr Bailey from Cheltenham, after which this car spent most of its life in the south including time on Jersey. Owner manuals, dealer locators and instruction booklets are all factory issue. The first service book is fully stamped and a continuation book is almost complete totalling 21 entries from either Rolls-Royce official or specialist outlets. The second book was started in 2006 at 43,880 miles and the final addition was in 2019 at 49,197 although the car also benefited from a carburettor rebuild, new water and fuel pumps, a full brake overhaul with gearbox and engine oil changes in 2020; since 2018 the previous owner invested over £21,000 caring for this Corniche. MOT history from 1987 at 33,484 includes every test up to the current certificate that runs until 25 April 2022 and confirms the current mileage shown as just 50,708.Exterior finish of Walnut Metallic over Rose Gold is both bespoke and eye catching, the former refinished in 2020 when the original Everflex vinyl roof was removed followed by a back to bare metal repaint carried out by Rolls-Royce specialists at West Hoathly Garage. They took out both front and rear screens to ensure the perfect finish with new seals installed on refit. Arrow straight panels with precise gaps, typical of Rolls-Royce quality with original chrome offer little evidence of 44 years use. Bumper rubbers, typically nondescript black, are coloured to body with hubcaps finished to complement with matching pinstriping over base gold whilst Stateside classic Vitour Galaxy R1 tyres all round offer high speed rating, white band and plenty of tread. The cabin enjoys the atmosphere of a West End gentlemen’s club with beige leather trim (VM3234) presenting evidence of light use, offering unparalleled luxury and comfort throughout. Electric front seating operates smoothly and without delay as do the powered windows, aerial and central locking. In 2020, the walnut door-cappings were re-lacquered and polished plus a Nardi Classic steering wheel was fitted; the original also comes with the car. It is worth mentioning the high level of equipment this Corniche offers, cruise control, bi-level air conditioning, remote openings for boot and fuel and, as you would expect, everything works as it should. Entertainment comes courtesy of the option Pioneer radio cassette backed up by an original 8-track player also from Pioneer, complete with selection options. Flooring is immaculate throughout, Cumberland Stone carpets protected by lambswool over mats whilst the chrome kick plates subtly state that this is a Mulliner Park Ward assembled vehicle you are entering.Under the bonnet the legendary 6.75 litre L410 V8 silently goes about its business, this strictly maintained power plant offers instant start up with ultra-smooth distribution of 237bhp. The engine bay area presents to show standard and obviously there are no fluid leaks and it is worth noting the original sound deadening jacket remains in place offering little signs of age. Underneath shows factory protection and remains solid throughout with a full stainless exhaust system fitted.Motoring journalists James May and Quentin Wilson will confirm the Corniche really is the only way to travel, with fine examples offering decades of unrivalled motoring. This coupé remains capable of covering continents effortlessly, visually outstanding with comfort levels equal to any ‘first-class’ ocean liner. Appreciated by the ‘smart money’ Frank Sinatra and David Attenborough were both custodians of the Rolls Royce Corniche, drawn in, no doubt, by the engineering masterclass and its timeless elegance.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal Transmission: manualMileage:46184In 1967, Alfa Romeo dipped its toe into the Supercar sector by launching the Montreal, named after the Montreal Expo where it made its debut. It was powered by an all new V8 quad-cam competition derived power unit with dry sump lubrication taken from the successful Type 33 sports racer and mated to a five-speed ZF gearbox. With a capacity of 2593cc, the V8 featured twin overhead camshafts per bank and produced, via Alfa Romeo/Spica fuel injection and Bosch electronic ignition, 200bhp at 6500rpm. This provided excellent performance with a top speed of 137mph and 0-60mph in just 7.6 seconds. Under the exotic Bertone designed 2+2 coupé coachwork, the Montreal incorporated many stylish features, such as the headlamp eyelids and the NACA duct on the bonnet. One of only 155 right hand drive, UK supplied cars, this wonderful Montreal offers a rare opportunity as the perfect candidate for restoration. Photos in the accompanying history file show it being repainted some time ago by the previous owner; however, it was repainted in red, when its original colour was the much more desirable metallic orange, (AR 602). The letter in the file from Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo confirms this and also that the car was manufactured on 21st February 1975 before being sold on 26th February 1975 to Alfa Romeo London. The vendor purchased the car in 2008 in its current condition having been dry stored for the previous twenty years. He bought it with the intention of restoring the car himself to enjoy it with his wife, who had given her blessing to the project! Sadly, she died shortly afterwards in a tragic accident and, whilst he made efforts to check the electrics and make sure the engine turned over, (which it does), ultimately, he lost the motivation for the restoration. He has kept the car in dry storage ever since and it is only being sold now to fund a trip to New Zealand with his son to scatter his wife’s ashes. Upon inspection, it appears the car is solid and almost all the parts are with it. The vendor however, has tracked down the missing few parts and is happy to pass the contact information onto any new owner. The car comes supplied with a UK V5C registration document, the letter from Alfa Romeo and photos of the previous paint job. Whilst the vendor never got to restore the car himself, the new owner can confidently undertake what should be a fairly straightforward restoration. Having been dry stored for the past 33 years and, incredibly, still having almost all the parts to complete the project, this is a unique opportunity to restore one of these rare right hand drive, UK supplied Montreals – an opportunity not to be missed.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1968 Jaguar 240 Transmission: manualMileage:81226In September 1967 the Jaguar Mk. II was re-labelled as the 240 and 340 compact saloons. They were interim models to fill the gap until the introduction of the XJ6 in September 1968. The 340 was discontinued on the introduction of the XJ6 but the 240 continued as a budget priced model until April 1969; its price of £1,364 was only £20 more than the first 2.4 in 1956. The 240 now had a straight-port cylinder head with twin HS6 SU carburettors and a new inlet manifold. To keep costs down, Jaguar replaced the leather with Ambla, a simulated leather material and tufted carpet was used on the floor. Other changes included the replacement of the front fog lamps with circular vents and optional fog lamps for the UK market. The sales price was reduced to compete with the Rover 2000 TC. For the first time, the 2.4 litre model could exceed 100 mph, resulting in a slight sales resurgence.Manufactured on 30th August 1968 and supplied by Glovers of Ripon to W.R.M. Michel in Harrogate, this Jaguar was originally registered on 1st October 1968. Still in its original colour combination of Dark Blue exterior with Dark Blue Ambla interior, this is a good honest example of one of Browns Lane finest designs. Owned by the current vendor since 2006, he has lovingly kept the car in a dehumidified garage and has used her only sparingly. Starting immediately when requested, the six-cylinder XK engine runs well and with good oil pressure. This is mated to a manual gearbox with overdrive. Sitting proudly on wire wheels and fitted with the sporty Coombes rear spats, we are advised this matching numbers 240 drives well with no known faults. Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, this example would benefit from some light re-commissioning and perhaps some more regular use than she has had of late.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1986 Lotus Esprit Turbo Transmission: manualMileage:85939Built between 1976 and 2004, the Lotus Esprit was unveiled in 1972 as a concept car and was a development of a stretched Lotus Europa chassis. It was among the first of designer Giorgetto Giugiaro's polygonal 'folded paper' designs. Originally, the name Kiwi was proposed but, in keeping with the Lotus tradition of having all car model names start with the letter 'E', the name became Esprit. Introduced in April 1981, the Turbo Esprit and Series III Esprit marked a necessary consolidation; both new models had a common chassis. The SIII continued to use the 2.2 litre, type 912 engine, whilst the Turbo Esprit reverted to a less complex wet-sump lubrication system, retaining the power and torque outputs of its dry-sump predecessor. The interior for both cars was revised and featured new trim; combined with changes to the body moulds this resulted in more headroom and an enlarged footwell. Externally, the Turbo Esprit retained the full aerodynamic body kit of the Essex cars and featured prominent 'Turbo Esprit' decals on the nose and sides. This fabulous example was supplied new by Bell & Colvill Lotus dealers in Surrey on 19th September 1986 with a dealer stamped owners hand book up to 53,000 miles. There is sizeable history file detailing previous works, old MoT test certificates, sundry invoices and the UK Registration document. Also present is a full set of workshop manuals to complement this exceptional Lotus Esprit. The engine was rebuilt at 50,000 miles, with the cockpit being re-upholstered and the paintwork refreshed in the early 2000s to exacting standards. The car had been dry stored for 12 years from 2009 before having light restoration, re-commissioning and detailing over the last year. Now fully operational, and used regularly, both engine and gearbox are smooth and strong with excellent engine oil pressure. All gauges operate and read correctly. Alloys have been fully refurbished back to factory specification and new ‘period’ tyres fitted all round. Some subtle modifications have been made and these include Hi-Spec four-pot front brakes and fully adjustable coil overs, fitted all round. The car now benefits from a new alarm system and central locking. Maintained regardless of cost, this wonderful and rather original example, runs and drives very well indeed and would enhance any serious collection.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI Blue-Tec Sport Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:59539Historically, the E-Class is Mercedes-Benz' best-selling model, with more than 13 million sold by 2015. The first E-Class series was originally available as a four-door saloon, five-door estate, two-door coupé and two-door convertible. From 1997 to 2009, the equivalent coupé and convertible were sold under the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class nameplate which was actually based on the mechanical underpinnings of the smaller C-Class while borrowing the styling and some powertrains from the E-Class. A trend continued with the C207 E-Class coupé/convertible which was sold parallel to the W212 E-Class saloon and estate models. With the latest incarnation of the E-Class released for the 2017 model year, all body styles share the same W213 platform. The coupé (C207) was first shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, while the convertible (A207) was unveiled at the 2010 North American International Auto Show. This superb 2010 E350 CDI Blue-Tec Sport Convertible was supplied new and fully loaded with AMG body styling, AMG sport seats, sports chassis, 18” AMG single rim six spoke alloy wheels, front and side air bags, ESP, multifunctional steering wheel, climate control, cruise control, electric steering column, electric heated memory seats with full lumber support both sides, rain sensitive windscreen wipers, windscreen washers, air scarf, retractable door mirrors and a combined radio, sat nav, ten CD changer with hands free telephone. Fitted with the seven-speed auto/Tiptronic gearbox, this E350 has only covered 58,000 miles from new and is supplied with a full Mercedes-Benz service history, the last B-Service being carried out in April this year by RPL Automotive Ltd, also at the same time four new premium brand tyres were fitted. Finished in metallic grey with an electric black soft top and Anthracite leather interior, this lovely convertible comes with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in August 2022 and a file containing a copy of the Mercedes digital service report and a number of invoices. It is reported that this car is extremely quick and holds the road very well, plus it can easily return 44mpg and represents excellent value.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1963 Jaguar Mk. II (3.4 litre Manual O/D) Transmission: manualMileage:73512The Jaguar Mk. II was a medium size saloon built from 1959 to 1967 as a successor to the 2.4 and 3.4 models, manufactured between 1957 and 1959. The Mk. II was handsome, powerful and a good handling saloon which was offered with a choice of three six-cylinder twin cam engines; 2.4 litre, 3.4 litre or 3.8 litre. After the appreciation of the Mk. I, Jaguar's successor was well received making a good car even better. Similar in appearance, but with a bigger glass area, it boasted a wider track to improve road holding together with minor front suspension changes to reduce body roll and all-round disc rather than drum brakes. The 210bhp 3.4 litre engine variant proved to be the most popular, offering the best compromise between performance and economy. Naturally, the performance was excellent and the Mk. II has enjoyed great success on track and can still be a very competitive historic race car. Raced by all the top drivers of the day including Graham Hill, Roy Salvadori and Michael Parkes, the Mk. II has scored victories throughout saloon car races in the sixties and was also raced across Europe in the Tour De France and Monte Carlo rally. This stunning example has been extensively restored culminating in the car offered here. Presented in Signal Red with fully trimmed beige leather, this Jaguar was first registered on 16th March 1963 in Grimsby, details of this can be found within the original buff logbook. In 1989, the car was exported to Germany, we believe for a serviceman, before returning to the UK in 1998 in need of restoration. Our vendor purchased the car in 2016 as an ongoing project, since then AEW 763A has had a ‘money no object’ treatment for which countless invoices can be found in the history file alongside quite a detailed history. The car itself is splendid, new chrome, new wood cappings and rubbers complement what has been a very good restoration indeed, the only shame being that due to ill health our vendor has not had much chance to enjoy the car. A fully restored 3.4 example with rebuilt engine and with the desirable manual with overdrive gearbox sitting on new wire wheels, this ticks all the Mk. II boxes and viewing is highly recommended.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1988 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:104724These fabulous sports cars were unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1977 and voted Car of the Year for 1978. It was intended as an upmarket replacement for the long-running 911 but in the event Porsche's rear-engined classic would outlive its younger sibling. The front-engined 928's stylish hatchback body featured aluminium doors, bonnet and front wings in the interests of weight saving, while ingenious impact resistant 'bumpers' made of colour matched plastic were incorporated into the nose and tail. A five-speed transaxle gearbox or three-speed automatic were the transmission options, in 1979 the 928S with its 4.6 litre engine arrived and then in 1986 the model was further revised and restyled, becoming the 928 S4. Its engine producing 320bhp courtesy of twin-cam, 16 valve cylinder heads and enlargement to 4,957cc, the S4 enjoyed a welcome top speed boost to 160mph.Originally registered in October 1988 this handsome Porsche presents well in Guards red with contrasting black leather trim piped in red. Power delivery is smooth from the five litre 320 bhp engine and we are told this Porsche is a joy to drive. We are also informed that the file for this Autobahn cruiser contains a V5C registration document, a good service history and an MoT test certificate valid until March 2022. Porsche 928’s have recently rediscovered their rightful popularity in recent years and represent a fantastic way to enjoy the open road.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1936 Bentley 3½ Litre Saloon by Hooper Transmission: manualMileage:2629When Rolls-Royce bought Bentley Motors, they shut down production of the 8 and 4½ litre. They then had to decide what to do with the Bentley name as they couldn't afford to alienate their customer base and not build a new Bentley. The question was what sort of car to build; after several false starts, the Experimental Department developed a prototype car based on an earlier 18hp experimental chassis called the 'Peregrine' and a suitably tweaked 20/25hp engine; this combination proved to be a winner. Launched in 1933, the first of what would become known as the 'Derby Bentleys' continued the marque's sporting associations. The 'Silent Sportscar', as it was quickly dubbed and had few peers as a tireless long-distance tourer, combining traditional Rolls-Royce refinement with Bentley performance and handling. In 1936, the 4¼ litre model was offered with more power than the 3½ litre while retaining the well-proven chassis and servo-assisted brakes. This Bentley forms part of a deceased estate and was purchased by its late owner in 1969. The history file shows that during his tenure the car was looked after by various garages including the world-famous Bentley dealership, Jack Barclay. Presenting with green and grey bodywork and a grey leather interior, this saloon is offered to auction with a file containing various bills and receipts that date back to the 1960’s, a V5C registration document, its original buff logbook and a copy of the blueprint for this model from Hoopers Coachworks. This imposing Bentley was recently uncovered in the dry barn that has housed it for several years. There are no records of when the engine and gearbox were removed but they and various sundry items are present. It appears that most of the parts are present to complete what could be an extremely rewarding project. Offered without reserve it would be wonderful to see this Bentley back on the roads where it belongs.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS (Surrey Top) Transmission: manualMileage:4738Produced between 1961 and 1967, the Triumph TR4 combined a new, modern, and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist, Giovanni Michelotti, with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation, and an optional hardtop. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph. Following on from the TR4, the new TR4A was phased in smoothly at the beginning of 1965 and introduced an all new independent rear suspension system (IRS), which provided exceptional rear wheel camber control with excellent wheel travel while softer springs improved the ride quality. The press was happy to see an all independent car, and Triumph was pleased to be the first British car manufacturer to have all independent suspensions under every car in their line-up. At the Sebring 12 Hours in 1966, ample proof of the validity of the IRS was provided when three IRS equipped TR4As achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 class victory. This home market TR4A is truly beautiful. The condition of the car is remarkable and the specification second to none. First dispatched in January 1966 it was specified in Signal red with black interior, wire wheels, a heater and overdrive gearbox. With a Surrey top, this is as desirable as they come. The car had a full body-off restoration around 2008, at which time the chassis received a complete overhaul as well as replacing the floors and outer sills on the body before being resprayed. The engine was rebuilt at the same time by John Knights Engineers in Norwich and the car also received new electrics, upgraded suspension bushes, springs and universal joints. A new stainless exhaust system was also fitted. In April 2019 a new clutch was fitted and the gearbox rebuilt. The car looks fantastic and shines in the sun; the brightwork is excellent as are the wire wheels and interior.  The door gaps and general panel fit is very good and this wonderful little car has just benefitted from a thorough recommissioning before bringing it to sale. The vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well with the overdrive gearbox shifting perfectly.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, BMI Heritage Certificate, owner’s handbook and file of receipts and history of the car’s life as well as two sets of keys and an MoT test certificate valid until June 2022. It is rare to find a TR4A in such stunning condition and with such a desirable specification. This pretty little British sports classic is ready to be admired wherever it goes.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1991 Range Rover CSK Transmission: Mileage:127888The limited edition Range Rover CSK was launched in 1990 and was named after Charles Spencer King, the original Range Rover two-door designer. Production was limited to 200 vehicles of which the majority were built as manuals with only 49 cars being fitted with an automatic gearbox. The CSK featured a number of modifications to improve both performance and comfort including a re-chipped version of the 3.9 litre V8 engine which produced 185bhp. The increased performance was complemented by improved handling with front and rear anti roll bars, sports dampers and the introduction of anti-lock brakes. Standard equipment included six speaker stereo system, air conditioning, tilt and slide sunroof, electric windows and power door mirrors. The Range Rover CSK offered here is one of only 49 automatic cars produced and bears number 190 of 200. Registered in 1991, this very original CSK is finished in Beluga Black with beige, diamond stitch full leather interior and has covered 126,077 miles. Having been supplied new by County Motors, Lincoln it boasts a mixture of main dealer service stamps in its original service booklet and numerous invoices latterly. The car has undergone a documented restoration including a respray, full engine rebuild, mechanical overhaul and new interior trim by London specialist Graeme Hunt between 2013-2014. 1986 Porsche Carrera 3.2 (3.5 Tognola upgrade) Supersport Specification Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:159393The 3.2 Carrera is revered as the ultimate development of the original 911 that first appeared in 1963, before being replaced by the more complicated 964.These final cars were the most flexible and usable of Butzi Porsche's original design. The all alloy flat six-engine, which had been fuel injected since 1971, was enlarged to 3164cc, giving a torquey 231 BHP; enough to propel the lithe and slippery coupé to over 150 mph, with 0-60 mph coming up in 5.6 seconds. Cars built from September 1986 onward received the more user-friendly G50 gearbox, but all 3.2 Carreras feature galvanized bodies, which together with Porsche's legendary build quality, ensure that these classics are long-lasting.Working for the city based financial company Singer and Friedlander, Mr. Dyas’ choice of company car was a bit better than most. A keen car enthusiast, he ‘settled’ for a brand new G50 gearbox, ‘triple black’ 3.2 Carrera Sport Coupé as, even with his position, ordering the factory Supersport he so desired was a step too far. He did however order the car with the desirable deep bolster adjustable sports seats, rear wiper and sunroof. Mr. Dyas loved the car and used it regularly, putting almost 65,000 miles on the clock by the time he bought it from his employers in 1992 (for £6,500) and although it was his car from new, he was now officially the second keeper.Whilst still owned by Singer and Friedlander however, Mr Dyas managed to get a few modifications done to the car. He somehow convinced his employers to convert the car to a Supersport, sourcing all the correct panels from Porsche and instructing Porsche experts, Tognola Engineering, to carry out the conversion. A receipt from Tognola from 1989 lists all the parts used for the conversion. Mr. Dyas didn’t stop there though; whilst having the Supersport conversion carried out and the car repainted, he also had Tognola do their 3.5 litre engine conversion. This boosted power from the standard 230 BHP to 267 BHP, (see rolling road report in the car’s history file), utilising the incredibly rare Club Sport ECU. Impressively, with the engine modifications, the car only produces 30 BHP less than the 930 Turbo! The quality of the work carried out when repainting the car after the Supersport conversion is remarkable, and the paint presents incredibly well even now, some 30 years later. Stood next to the car, it is hard to believe it has covered over 159,000 miles, presenting better than most 30,000 mile examples, with the interior unmarked and mechanically perfectly maintained. Indeed, other than its latest service, which included fluids and brake pads by Porsche guru Steve Monk, the car has had almost all of its work carried out by Tognola Engineering, with only the very early services by Porsche main dealers. The incredible history file shows not only every tax disc and MoT test certificate for the car’s life, but also every receipt from Tognola Engineering for their servicing and work from 1989 to 2014. The supplied Porsche service book also boasts 17 stamps and the vendor reports the car to be an absolute pleasure to drive, without any faults.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, service book, owner’s handbook and a wonderful file of the car’s life as well as an MoT test certificate valid until April 2022. This fantastic Porsche is unique in terms of both its incomparable history, and its uprated specification.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. III BJ8 Transmission: manualMileage:41556The Austin Healey 3000 was built from 1959 to 1967 and is the best known of the 'big' Healey models. The car's bodywork was made by Jensen Motors and the vehicles were assembled at the BMC Abingdon works. The 3000 was a successful car which won its class in many European rallies during its heyday and also ran at Le Mans during that period. As such, it's still used in competition by enthusiasts today. The 3000 Mk. III was launched in October 1963 and remained in production until the end of 1967 when production of Austin Healeys ceased. Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with a walnut veneer dash, wind-up windows and a 150bhp engine. Improvements to the engine included a new camshaft, valve springs and twin SU 2 HD8 carburettors together with a redesigned exhaust system and servo-assisted brakes. This delightful BJ8 Healey Mk. III is presented in light blue metallic coachwork with complementary blue leather trim and matching tonneau and hood. The accompanying Heritage Certificate tells us that this car, with optional wire wheels and overdrive, was originally exported to North America on 11th March 1966 where it lived most of its life. In 2002 the car returned to the UK where the first UK owner had it fully restored, converting it to right hand drive, he subsequently sold the car to Beaulieu Garage from whom our vendor purchased the car in 2004. Having been recently restored our vendor saw to some fettling issues and then proceeded to enjoy driving this car across the continent ever since but not without significant expenditure with some of the best Healey specialists in the industry to ensure it remained in fine, reliable order throughout. Orchard Restorations cared for the car between 2009 and 2013, Dennis Welch Motorsport cared for the car between 2013 and 2018 with minor services in between fulfilled by a local garage before J.M.E Healey in 2019 provided a general overhaul, service and works to the brakes more recently. All of this is documented in a fabulous history file which contains countless invoices amounting to an average £3,300 a year spend demonstrating a real no expense spared philosophy since being purchased from Beaulieu in 2004. Although our vendor has enjoyed the past 17 years touring in his wonderful Healey, he has decided that the time has come for a more modern replacement and thus the car he considers part of the family needs to find a very good home. This Austin Healeys condition is commensurate with the specialist attention the car has received over the years. The fitment of electronic ignition has improved the reliability and an overdrive gearbox ensures this is a very capable continent cruiser. The fastidious vendor is aware that this BJ8 requires ongoing investment, having received advise regarding the front suspension, however having just completed a trouble free 100 mile round trip reported the car to be in good order. With values of these big Healeys increasing steadily of late and regularly achieving over £50,000 we believe this example to represent exceedingly good value given the significant level of investment in recent times. To be expected, a fabulous history file accompanies this privately owned and much loved Healey. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1980 Triumph TR8 Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:73The TR8 that appeared on the North American market used the all-alloy 3.5-litre V8 engine that had been powering Rovers since 1966. Most of the initial build cars came with dual Zenith Stromberg carburettors - only those sold into emission-conscious California using fuel injection from the outset. Early TR8s were only available in Coupe form - the much-admired convertible not reaching the market until October of their introductory year.British Leyland had eventually decided to introduce the TR8 to the UK and European markets in November 1981 and had constructed a mere eighteen right hand drive cars at the Lode Lane Solihull Factory some weeks before. Shortly after these examples were built British Leyland executives decided to cancel the whole TR range and plans to build the TR8 in any volume were scrapped. The order was subsequently given to clear all vehicle stocks which included the eighteen un-registered and unsold TR8s languishing at Canley. Car manufacturers used a term known as ‘method build’ prior to full production, the process is meant as test to iron out any snags and to fully learn the process of building a new model from start to finish. To this end two TR7 convertible body shells were used to build a manual and an automatic factory TR8 in November 1980. Both cars were built right hand drive finished in Pendelican white and fitted with TR8 engines, in this case chassis no. 402290 the auto gearbox version was fitted with engine number 21E-00001. This car was also built with the North American market Tan velour interior. The car was subsequently sold off by British Leyland during factory clear out in August of 1980 to a north London collector who took the unregistered car and placed it in a lock up in Hampstead until it was recently discovered by classic car specialist Anthony Godin.Having remained hidden for a staggering 41 years the car is now available for restoration. Supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate confirming the car as a factory built Triumph TR8 Convertible it is one of the last great undiscovered cars of the iconic 1980’s.Interested parties should note that this Triumph TR8 does not come with keys and as such the steering lock is on.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Transmission: automaticMileage:25100The Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2006 - 2013) was the second Bentley manufactured since the Volkswagen Group purchased the brand in 1999, after the Continental GT. The Flying Spur is essentially a four-door version of the Continental GT, with a stretched wheelbase and greater length for more spacious rear seating. The two models are similarly priced. The 2013 Spur weighs 5,580lbs and carries the same twin-turbo, 6.0 litre W12 engine used in the Continental GT, for an output of 600 horsepower and 533 pound-feet of torque. It has a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 200mph. The steering column-mounted paddle shifters enable direct access to the six-speed gearbox when the ZF transmission is put into ’S’ or sports mode.Originally registered in 2006 this striking Bentley presents well in a two tone wrap of silver and purple with a contrasting cream Connolly leather interior. The records for this Bentley show only three owners and a very low mileage. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate, this is a realistically priced opportunity to purchase the ultimate 200mph, luxury Bentley saloon.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1971 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:10494The Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel-injection. It featured a four-speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.First registered on Christmas Eve 1971, this desirable ‘CP’ 150bhp car is a UK home market supplied vehicle including the desirable overdrive gearbox option, which still works faultlessly and shifts almost instantly. The condition of this car is truly excellent, with the chrome wire wheels presenting almost as new. The red paintwork shines brightly and the interior no less, with freshly reupholstered MX5 seats fitted for added comfort on longer journeys. The hood is in excellent condition, as are the carpets and dashboard. The history file for this car is very impressive with a huge amount of past invoices and receipts. The previous owner lavished as much care on it as the current one, spending around £7,000 with Moordale Motors in Hertfordshire on servicing between 2014 and 2020 alone. Included in the history file is an original handbook as well as the ultra-rare Triumph Passport booklet for the car and an original brochure. The vendor and previous owners have truly cherished and taken good care of the car with the vendor going through the vehicle from front to back before entering it into our sale. He reports the car to run and drive faultlessly with excellent performance and the engine pulling strongly.Supplied with its UK V5C registration document, BMI Heritage Certificate, previous MoT test certificates and a current MoT test certificate valid until September 2022, this is an impressive example of a British classic. Good condition TR6’s are difficult to come across and this one stands a step above the rest.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1963 Bentley S3 Transmission: automaticMileage:94729The last Bentley to be built on a separate chassis, 1962 saw the introduction of the Bentley S3 factory bodied, standard steel saloon and, at first glance, it would appear that the all new S3 was merely an S2 with different headlamps. The introduction of the twin headlamps was clearly the most obvious change, but the differences did not end there. Further changes included the introduction of smaller bumper overriders and the repositioning of the front indicators and side lamps into one single unit on the front wing, resulting in a more attractive appearance. The S3's interior now had individual front seats in place of the split bench seat found in the earlier S-Types and some, like this one, had electric windows and front seat belts. Mechanically speaking the S3 was the same as the S2 with a 6230cc, Rolls-Royce V8 engine and automatic gearbox but this model was fitted with larger carburettors, improved power steering to aid smoother movement at parking speed and a Lucas vacuum-advance distributor to aid fuel consumption, making it almost identical in mechanical specification to the S3 Continental that was being produced at the same time. On 11th February 1963 this beautiful example of the marque was supplied new with the electric window option by Bristol Motors Co. Ltd. to Mr. F.G. Pratten. In 1990, the well-known marque specialist, Chelsea Workshop sold the car to a gentleman who took and stored the car at his family home near St. Tropez in the South of France; upon its return to the UK 20 years later he gave the car back to Chelsea Workshop and instructed them to renovate the Bentley, cost for which amounted to £60,000. Part of the renovation was to repaint the car in the original colour of Masons Black whilst retaining the original Tan leather interior and fit a very discreet air conditioning system. Mechanically the car was completely gone through including a brake overhaul, front suspension overhaul including replacing the front road springs, re-tempering the rear springs, overhauling the power steering ram, replacing PAS hoses and carrying out a full 24,000 mile service. Since all this work has been done the car has covered a mere 3,700 miles and looks, runs and drives as it did when it came out of Chelsea Workshop. The current owner purchased the Bentley in 2015, again from Chelsea Workshop; he lived almost next door to them and used the car as his local transport around London. This Bentley S3 is supplied with UK V5C registration document and a file containing copies of the chassis cards supplied by the R.R.E.C. and the MoT history confirming the mileage. Here is a fantastic opportunity to buy one of the best, post war Bentleys that can still be used as an 'everyday motor car'.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1991 Ferrari 348 TB Transmission: manualMileage:58343The Ferrari 348 was a mid-engined, rear wheel drive V8 powered two-seater replacing the 328 in 1989 and continuing until 1995. Badged 348 TB for the coupé (Berlinetta) and 348 TS (Spider) for the targa versions, it features a naturally aspirated 3.4 litre version of the quad-cam, four valve per cylinder engine which was originally found in the 288GTO. As with its predecessors, the model number was derived from this configuration with the first two digits being the displacement and the third being the number of cylinders. The engine, which produced 300bhp, was mounted longitudinally and coupled to a transverse manual gearbox, similar to the Mondial T with which the 348 shared many components. The 'T' in the model name TB and TS refers to the transverse position of the gearbox. The 348 was equipped with a dry-sump oil system to prevent oil starvation at high speeds and during hard cornering. This fabulous example of a manual right hand drive Ferrari 348 is presented in Rosso Corsa with Crema leather trim and boasts a low mileage of just 58,343. This example was supplied new by Maranello Ferrari, Egham in 1991 who then performed the first four services. The car has since been cared for by Greypaul Ferrari, Lancaster Ferrari in Colchester and JCT600 Ferrari. Inside there are no ‘sticky buttons’ and the car presents fabulously well with a full leather book pack and comprehensive history file containing invoices, previous MoT’s and details of ownership. QV London performed a cambelt service in April 2021 for Slades Garage in Penn where the vendor purchased the car but unfortunately due to a shoulder injury the vendor can no longer drive and so with a heavy heart he is forced to sell. Inspecting the car and the history file will lead any interested party to view this as a very well cared for car. Offered with a MoT test certificate valid until June 2022 and the current V5 Registration document, we strongly advise viewing to recognise what is an appreciating example of the great Italian car manufacturer.Service History28/11/1991 Maranello Ferrari 1,383 miles17/03/1992 Maranello Ferrari 5,993 miles24/03/1993 Maranello Ferrari 11,222 miles15/04/1994 Maranello Ferrari 15,950 miles19/07/1994 Lancaster Ferrari 16,324 miles (inc. cambelt)13/07/1995 Lancaster Ferrari 18,788 miles29/03/1996 Maranello Ferrari 19,383 miles (inc. cambelt)23/07/1997 Greypaul Ferrari 21,518 miles20/08/1998 Greypaul Ferrari 23,475 miles13/04/1999 Greypaul Ferrari 24,280 miles (inc. cambelt)16/05/2001 Keysport Ferrari 25,491 miles20/05/2002 Keysport Ferrari 27,588 miles (inc. cambelt)05/02/2003 Verdi Ferrari Specialist 28,505 miles25/04/2004 Verdi Ferrari Specialist 32,120 miles (inc. cambelt)13/04/2006 Greypaul Ferrari 36,396 miles (inc. cambelt)17/04/2007 Lancaster Ferrari 38,740 miles14/03/2008 Lancaster Ferrari 41,163 miles23/01/2009 Lancaster Ferrari 43,335 miles (inc. cambelt)22/05/2010 Lancaster Ferrari 45,575 miles05/03/2014 Lancaster Ferrari 53,285 miles (inc. cambelt)28/06/2017 JCT600 Ferrari 55,940 miles (inc. cambelt)10/07/2018 JCT600 Ferrari 56,320 miles01/03/2019 Migliore Cars 56,581 miles03/06/2020 Paul Sanders Ferrari Specialist 56,942 miles25/04/2021 Slades/QV London 57,000 miles (inc. cambelt)Interested parties should note that this examples odometer reading is currently 00,1430. 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 3.6 Cabriolet Tiptronic Transmission: automaticMileage:59409The Porsche 993 was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 964 generation of the iconic 911 models and was built until 1998. Regarded by many as the best generation of 911's ever produced from Stuttgart, this car was the last to use the air-cooled flat six engine that had powered 911's for the previous thirty years. It was offered in a number of guises and specifications during its production life including two and four-wheel drive, known as Carrera and Carrera 4 respectively. This lovely cabriolet example is presented in Arena Red metallic with black leather interior. Its black electrically operated hood is in good condition, as is the interior which has a Light Root wood dashboard, door cappings and part wood steering wheel which were all ordered new from the factory. This detail can be seen on the original order sheet from AFN Guildford which is in the history file. The car comes with air conditioning, electric front seats, Tiptronic S gearbox and its original handbook and service book with 17 stamps in it. This extremely attractive Porsche Carrera is in great condition, with some attributes that make it stand out from the rest and its comprehensive history, it’s surely one of the best examples available.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1962 Porsche 356B Transmission: manualMileage:Porsche's 356 became a classic the day the first car left the production line and the ensuing years have only enhanced the legend. Continuous updates from the very earliest days of the model and gradual replacement of its early Volkswagen-based components with parts from Porsche manufacture saw to this. These detail changes came frequently but major change was only made when necessary and after due consideration of their effect to improve performance, ride, handling and the marque's enviable reputation of being able to produce sporting motor cars with competition-beating reliability. After a significant update in 1955 with the 356A, the 356B was introduced in 1960, the firm's most significant evolution yet. Motivated in part by increasingly demanding safety regulations, the 356B had raised, stronger bumpers and lifted headlights that noticeably altered the car's frontal appearance. Vent windows in the doors and hinged rear windows enhanced interior ventilation. Up-rated Elfin brakes with cooling fins also benefitted from air intakes below the headlights which channels cooling air to the front drums. This superb and highly developed Historic Rally car is offered with FIVA identity and is presented in silver/yellow which looks fantastic. In 1992 the car was the subject of a ‘ground up’ bare shell rebuild by Roger Bray Restorations using the original matching number engine, which was up-rated to 1720cc and produces 100bhp plus (see history file complete with photographs). This car is well known in the rally world and it has participated in many events including the Classic Marathon, Rallye des Isles, Liege-Rome-Liege, Three Castles, the Monte Carlo Historique 2014/15/16/17/18/19, Le Jog 2014 to 2017 and the Tour Britannia. For many years prior to the current owner, the car was looked after by the renown Porsche specialist, Andy Prill and all that was needed to be done was carried out with no expense spared. During 2013 the car went through an extensive recommissioning to international rally standards by Grant Speed Engineering. The engine was removed and rebuilt 2000 miles ago, set up and LSD checked, as was the gear box. It also benefits from new shock absorbers all round, new clutch, new heat exchangers and pipes, all ancillary parts replaced, new Wosp Starter and Dyanator. A competition wiring loom was fused and relayed, new Cobra Custom seats were fitted with Schroth belts and a fire extinguisher has been plumbed in. It has a full roll cage, sump guards front and rear, Rally trip, heated front windscreen and four Cibie Oscar spot lights. This fabulous Porsche has proved to be a very capable and reliable car with excellent gear ratios for long range touring. There are invoices from Grants Speed in the history file showing over £147,000 has been spent and interestingly the dyno sheet shows the car now produces around 141 BHP! Work carried out this year comprises of engine and gearbox removed and all ancillary parts replaced or refurbished, new manifolds, heat exchangers, clutch, gearbox stripped and rebuilt LSD checked, 4 New Koni competition shock absorbers, new high torque Wasp Starter and Dyanator, new flexible brake hoses, the carburetors were re balanced and checked. It is now ready to compete! The cost of parts were in excess of £3250 and the labour costs were £4500. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello Transmission: manualMileage:38154The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a two-seat grand tourer manufactured from 1996 and is powered by a front engined V12. It shared its platform and 5,474cc engine with the 456 but was positioned as the company's high-end model. 1975 Triumph Stag Transmission: manualMileage:75498The ‘Stag’ name was a development codename allocated when the design project was initiated by Giovanni Michelotti in 1965. None of the subsequent names suggested through the process were ever deemed more compelling, 55 years later, the Triumph Stag still occupies one of the cornerstones of the collector’s car market. The svelte Michelotti styling married to decadent V8 power makes this model both beautiful to look at and enormous fun to drive. Add to that a thriving club network, these cars make for hugely desirable ownership.Registered on 1st July 1975, this wonderfully presented Triumph Stag has been in single ownership for over four decades and has more recently been the subject of a comprehensive restoration undertaken by Triumph specialists. Included in the work was an extensive bare metal respray of the body as well as a new interior and an extensive overhaul of the engine, a new hood was also fitted at this time. Many panels and dials were restored where necessary and the rear axle and gearbox were stripped, rebuilt, and re-fitted to the car. Other works included the fitment of four new wheels shod with new tyres, new brake lines and a new exhaust system leaving no stone unturned. The workmanship put into this painstaking restoration is clear to see, the paintwork is excellent and the interior and engine bay present in superb order. The history file that accompanies the car includes many invoices detailing the restoration, sundry invoices, photos of the Triumph during restoration and the UK V5 registration document. Offered with its private registration number, this must be one of the finest examples on the market today. A very rare opportunity to acquire a freshly restored Stag in the most desirable colour combination. Surely one of the best.Interested parties should note that the overdrive is currently not working on this vehicle. 2016 Land Rover Defender 90 XS TD Transmission: manualMileage:107The Land Rover Defender was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin.Originally registered on 18th August 2016, this outstanding Land Rover presents in completely unmarked condition and has covered just 107 miles from new. The black coachwork is gleaming having just been professionally detailed and the interior equally as pristine. Look under the car and it is clear this 90 XS TD has not been on the road and has been exceedingly well cared for. The XS was a well-equipped vehicle from the factory with alloy wheels and air conditioning as standard. This example also has a towbar fitted and grey leather trim. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a full years MoT test certificate, viewing is recommended to appreciate the stunning condition of this Land Rover. Production of these classic shape Defenders stopped in 2016 and prices have steadily risen on good examples since, this one is sure to appeal to investors given the condition and mileage.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1947 MG TC Transmission: manualMileage:5904The MG TC was the first postwar MG launched in 1945. It was quite similar to the pre-war TB, sharing the same 1250cc pushrod-OHV engine with a slightly higher compression ratio of 7.4:1 generating 54bhp at 5200rpm. The makers also provided several alternative stages of tuning for 'specific purposes'. It was exported to the United States even though only ever built in right hand drive. The body was approximately four inches wider than the TB measured at the rear of the doors to give more cockpit space. The overall car width remained the same resulting in narrower running boards with two tread strips as opposed to the previous three. The tachometer was directly in front of the driver while the speedometer was on the other side of the dash in front of the passenger. This wonderfully presented MG is offered in very good order throughout and comes with a comprehensive history file detailing its past. Previous custodians are recorded, the most significant of which being a Mr. Ratcliff who acquired the car in 1969 for the pricey sum of £190, remarkably the invoice for this sale remains with the car. Enjoyed for many years during his tenure, an astonishing number of invoices, letters and receipts were acquired. In 1974 Mr. Ratcliff moved to Hong Kong but left the car in his London garage where its condition gradually deteriorated. The decision was made for the TC to be transported to Hong Kong where a comprehensive restoration was commissioned in 1992. Included was an extensive rebuild of the body, engine, gearbox, wiring and interior. The exhaustive restoration took over 11 years to finish and was finally completed in 2003. Mr. Ratcliff enjoyed the MG on many classic car rallies in Hong Kong where it received numerous awards and in 2010 the car was repatriated to the UK. On its return the engine was extensively rebuilt by marque specialists before it was acquired by its next owner who used the TC occasionally over his five year ownership. Our vendor purchased the MG in 2019 and this year it has been treated to much maintenance work by Ricketts Restorations Ltd to the tune of £7,683. The steering box was replaced with an upgraded Datsun unit, brake cylinders and shoes were renewed all round, the brake system was extensively restored and four new wire wheels were fitted. However, the old wheels and various other spare parts are included with the car.Offered with its original registration number (JP 5955), toolkit, tonneau cover and side screens, this superb looking example with its fabulous, documented history is on the button and ready for its next loving custodian.Lot is no reserve.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 2012 Mclaren MP4-12C Transmission: paddleMileage:16419The MP4-12C is McLaren's first production car since the legendary McLaren F1. Designed by Frank Stephenson, who also styled the Ferrari F430, the MP4-12C was launched in 2011 and was built using a great deal of technology from McLaren's Formula One program. The 3.8 litre, bi-turbo, V8 is breathtaking, delivering 592bhp at 7,000rpm and 600Nm of torque. Combine that with a kerb weight of only 1,301kg (the comparable Ferrari 458 Italia weighs 1,380kg) and performance is simply sensational. A Formula One style carbon tub, known as a 'Carbon Mono Cell', forms the basis of the car's chassis and weighs just 80kg. In addition, the engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox allowing for seamless gear changes. Even the name 'MP4-12C' is a homage to McLaren's Formula One history, as every chassis since 1981 has been labelled MP4.The MP4-12C can sprint from 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds, however where the McLaren blows its rivals away is in acceleration to 125mph, only the Bugatti Veyron is faster, at just 8.9 seconds, compared to the 458 taking 10.4 seconds and it even beat Ferrari's best Enzo. The beautifully engineered cantilever wing doors look fantastic but it's the McLaren ProActive Chassis Control (MPCC) that steals the show, a revolutionary set-up that puts the McLaren ahead of its rivals. On the left of the narrow centre console is a dial marked 'H' (for handling), which allows you to switch the suspension, steering and electronic stability control between Normal, Sport and Track modes. A similar dial on the right wears a 'P' (for powertrain) and it has the same modes to tweak the response of the gearshifts, engine and manage the sound of the power plant in the cabin. Thanks to the large brakes and the spectacular rear air brake flap, stopping power is superb. In addition to MPCC, the MP4-12C gets McLaren's rear-wheel Brake Steer system, which brakes the inside wheel, if necessary, to keep you on course. On the exit of tight bends, Brake Steer then also jumps in to minimise time-wasting wheel spin and correctional control inputs. Unbelievably for a car of this nature, the MP4-12C's fuel efficiency and emissions are also unbeatable in this class, emitting less CO2 per horsepower than a Toyota Prius hybrid! The MP4-12C is a remarkable product from a remarkable company. It distils the values of the McLaren brand - technological expertise, efficiency and sheer speed - into a stunningly useable package. This stunning Volcano Orange 2012 McLaren MP4-12C was first registered on 5th June 2012. Finished with black Alcantara trim, carbon steering wheel and centre console, it boasts full electric memory seats, upgraded Iris information centre and factory power upgrade. This spectacular example has benefitted from annual McLaren main dealer services, the most recent with McLaren Hatfield in April of this year, stamps for all can be found in the service booklet. Having covered only 16,419 miles, it must be one of the lowest mileage examples available. The car is presented with standard specification and supplied with a UK V5C registration document and MoT test certificate valid until September 2022 as well as a McLaren trickle charger. Overseen by Ron Dennis and his famously meticulous and uncompromising nature, these fabulous cars boast incredible performance as well as incomparable heritage.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1972 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:82000The Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel injection. It featured a four speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.First registered on 23rd June 1972, this desirable ‘CP’ 150BHP car was a UK home market supplied vehicle, which included the overdrive gearbox option from new. The car was purchased in the early 90’s by a Mr Wallin in Berkshire who, in 1994, began what developed into a comprehensive restoration spanning six years and resulted in a stunning outcome. The Burr Walnut dash is as new, likewise the double duck hood which complements the lovely blue coachwork and black trim. When Mr Brown in Bracknell purchased the car in 2005 the expenditure didn’t stop there. Being described as somewhat of a perfectionist he had Rees Bros inspect the car prior to purchase. In 2013 Mr Brown had the engine reconditioned by Rees Bros who also provided an evaluation on the car stating it was ‘an excellent example of this desirable sports car that has been looked after very well. It is in first class order throughout’. Having covered only minimal mileage since, the car presents just as it would have in 2013, one of the best we have offered, and the vendor states he would jump in and drive to Scotland tomorrow in her. Supplied with its UK V5C registration document, previous MoT test certificates and many receipts. This example, offered in its ultimate high powered specification, is not to be confused with the average TR6. Its condition is fantastic and it presents extremely well in a desirable colour combination. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:14511Although having a family resemblance to the XK120 and XK140, the XK150 was radically modernised. A one piece windscreen replaced the split screen and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The bonnet was also widened, opened down to the wings and on the roadster, the bulkhead was moved back four inches to make the bonnet longer. In the interior, the XK140's walnut dashboard was replaced by one trimmed in leather and chrome. On the early drophead coupés, an aluminium centre dash panel with an X pattern engraving was fitted which looked similar to the early 3.8 litre E-Type. The standard engine, the same as fitted to the XK140, was the 3.4 litre DOHC Jaguar straight six rated at 180bhp at 5750rpm but most cars were fitted with the SE engine that had a modified cylinder head with larger exhaust valves rated at 210bhp at 5500rpm. The four-wheel Dunlop 12 disc brakes appeared for the first time although it was theoretically still possible to order a car with drums. Either wire wheels or disc wheels could be specified. These were high performance, well-appointed sports touring cars capable of 137mph and 0-60 in 7.8 seconds and could comfortably accomplish long distances with alacrity. This beautiful Jaguar was originally despatched to Henlys London and has spent much of its life in Jersey. The red coachwork is in very good order as is the beige leather trim, she sits proudly on chrome wire wheels. Turn the ignition on, press the button and the XK engine bursts into life and sounds superb, we are advised she drives every bit as good as she looks. Southern Classics carried out a significant level of restoration work during 2000 with the body being fully restored and the car being taken care of mechanically, the final invoice was £51,994.93. At some stage during its life this XK150 has been converted from automatic to manual gearbox. A genuine UK supplied right hand drive vehicle, this car is currently being de-registered in Jersey and will come to sale with an official export certificate enabling the car to be registered in the UK, although buyers must be aware that a 6% import duty must be paid on the sale price. However, with prices for such examples regularly achieving well over £100,000, the vendor has taken this into account given the estimate. 1945 GMC DUKW Transmission: manualMileage:3108The DUKW was designed and developed to solve the problem of resupply to army units who had just performed an amphibious landing. Its name was derived from the manufacturing initials used by General Motors at the time; D designed in 1942, U utility, K all-wheel drive, W dual rear axles. Now colloquially known as a Duck, it was initially rejected by the combined armed services. However, when a United States Coast Guard patrol ran aground on a sand bar near Provincetown, Massachusetts, an experimental DUKW that happened to be in the area had no trouble in rescuing the seven stranded Coast Guardsmen when more conventional craft had been prevented from doing so. The military opposition to the DUKW soon melted. This General Motors DUKW is one of the largest lots ever offered by Historics. Manufactured in 1945 it is one of the last 150 ever made. This DUKW has only had two owners. You could say three, as the US government ordered them to be manufactured, but never took delivery. The first owner was the Tennessee Valley River Authority who purchased six or more in 1945. They fell out of use in the 1980s and Mr. Glyn Hewitt of Hewitt Marine purchased this one. He shipped it over in 1988 and added it to a pile of DUKWs in a field in Barrow on Soar, Leicestershire. Following a lengthy ordering delay the vendor took delivery in January 2000. Two Varta lorry batteries give 24 volt starting power and it was on the road but the petrol engine seized so Rex Ward of Reading did a diesel conversion in 2003, fitting a six-cylinder Bedford 330 diesel engine which, we are told, has proven to be reliable, starting first time, every time. He also put in air over hydraulic brakes, a marine synchromesh gearbox and new brake cylinders all round, this made a much safer vehicle with much better braking. This DUKW has had two major mechanical overhauls, in January 2000 and May 2012. Both by DUKW specialist Rex Ward of Reading. Engine and drive train accessories re-newed or repaired as necessary. It is unusual to find a DUKW in such good order and with as many original features as are displayed on GSL 629, these include an original kedge anchor by Danforth Berkeley and the original Garwood Detroit winch with fitted wire, two US fuel cans on the rear deck, new three-part canvas, new metal (tyre) chock, original hinged passenger seat with original cushions, and a full set of canvas support irons and all original floor boarding in rear load area .Also in the rear loading area is a secure box containing gear oil, wheel brace, and a tin containing the bronze bungs which seal the bilge drain hole and the breather holes in the prop shaft outer housings. These are extremely rare, and when fitted are outside the underneath of the hull. It has the original bilge pump which works at an incredible 300 gallons a minute and also present are two good spare wheels with fitted tyres which have the seventeen good nuts for the removeable tyre retaining ring. There are two correct pattern front tyres which were imported from the USA at a cost of £900, four good rear tyres and a good spare on the rear deck. There are also six spare, part-worn, tyres which could be used for a display vehicle but not for road use. It should be noted that the DUKW tyre size is almost unique in American WWII vehicles. Our 81 year old vendor tells us that he regularly takes the DUKW from its custom built barn to military vehicle days at Debach airfield near Ipswich and Rougham airfield near Bury St. Edmunds. He also says that the 100 mile round trips at 35mph are enough for him. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a comprehensive history file containing various bills receipts and photographs, this road ready DUKW is a real head turner and is offered with a sensible reserve. Potential buyers should note that GSL 629 has not been on the water for a number of years and should be fully inspected before doing so. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 2003 Aston Martin DB7 GT Transmission: manualMileage:45830Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was engineered in conjunction with Tom Walkinshaw's TWR group who built the new supercharged six-cylinder engine. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. It didn't just bring a new powertrain but more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog/side/indicator lights and imposing 18 wheels. The Vantage interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell where the carpet and wood veneers were also prepared. With the launch of the new V12 engine in the DB7 Vantage, production of the earlier straight-six DB7 ended in mid-1999. In 2002, a new variant was launched, named V12 GT or V12 GTA when equipped with an automatic transmission. It was essentially an improved version of the Vantage, its V12 engine producing 420bhp. Additionally, the GT and GTA chassis had substantially updated suspension from the DB7 Vantage models. Aesthetically, compared to the Vantage it has a mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet, a boot spoiler, an aluminium gear lever, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 14 front and 13 rear vented disc brakes by Brembo. This wonderful example presented in Solway Grey over a blue leather interior was delivered new on 14th April 2003 by P. J. Evans of Birmingham to a John Hardy who registered the car in his company name, Contract Appliances of Coalville, Leicestershire. The DB7 GT was maintained and serviced by P. J. Evans until it was sold to a Barry Surtees of Brighton when the car was just a year old. The Aston remained in Brighton until February 2006 when it was acquired by its next owner, an Aston Martin enthusiast and collector in Surrey who maintained the DB7 GT to a high standard. Acquired by our vendor in 2015, the Aston has resided in his private collection and has been used occasionally during his tenure. Offered with a sizeable history file including records of previous MoT test certificates, service records and various sundry invoices, it is in good order throughout and presents very well; the manual gearbox and engine are said to be in good working order. This example is offered in a very attractive colour combination and is an opportunity not to be missed.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1989 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:Originally intended to replace the company's iconic 911, the 928 attempted to combine the power, poise and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort and equipment of a luxury saloon. The body, styled by Wolfgang Möbius under guidance of Anatole Lapine, was mainly of galvanized steel but the doors, bonnet and boot were made of aluminium to save weight.  Polyurethane elastic bumpers were integrated into the nose and tail and covered in body-coloured plastic; an unusual feature for the time that was intended as both a styling feature and to reduce drag. In 1980, the 928S was introduced with a larger 4.7 litre engine and wider wheels and tyres, whilst in 1987, the engine displacement was further increased to 4957cc with the introduction of the now highly regarded and desirable 928 S4.Supplied by AFN Porsche (London) Ltd on 5th May 1989, this 928 S4 appears to have been very well cared for and presents in very good condition all round. The Forrest Green paintwork is in very good order with a good deep rich shine and the contrasting Cashmere Beige interior is commensurate with a low mileage example that has been well cared for. The additional extras on this 928 S4 include automatic transmission, lumbar support on the driver’s seat, soft look leather seats and a sunroof. A comprehensive history folder accompanies F479 SLF, showing 18 stamps in the service book, together with a significant number of invoices. A documented gearbox overhaul was carried out in February 2010 with the mileage at 51,354. Supplied with the original handbooks, a V5C registration document together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 24th March 2022 and a Certificate of Authenticity. Porsche 928’s are fast becoming recognised as being great cars to own; the familiar tone of a five litre V8 combined with superb German engineering make this an exciting car to drive both on country roads and relaxing on longer journeys.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1975 Formosa 120 GR Long Wheelbase Transmission: manualMileage:650The Formosa 120 GR Long Wheelbase was inspired by the racing cars of the 1950's such as the Jaguar C Types and Aston Martins. Whilst not a replica, the Formosa captures the style and qualities from the era. The car was created with the help and guidance of an ex-pattern maker and laminator who had just retired from Sunseeker Super Yachts and also had a background in creating fibreglass race cars and Hot Rods. A man by the name of Glan Richards (GR). Over a period of approximately ten months he shaped and created a bodyshell that had all the features he liked from various cars of that bygone era but the design didn't lean heavily or replicate any particular marque or model, thereby avoiding all the copyright and patent issues that replicators can have problems with.’ A standalone car that was immediately recognisable as a 1950's race car. In the same way that builders of old chose to use existing donor chassis and running gear from the classic marketplace, he chose to do the same. By retaining the majority of the donor, minus bodyshell, he could retain the car’s classic status, registration, chassis number, etc... for him this was vital. Still a true classic car just wearing a different coat! Driving experience is that of a 1950's racing car, a raw, wind in the hair, firm ride accompanied by a glorious exhaust note from its V6. This pretty sports car was recently assembled with over 1000 hours spent in doing so, in 2021 from the ground up using a refurbished and powder coated 1975 Scimitar GTE chassis. The mechanical components were inspected prior to installation onto the newly powder coated chassis. The brakes were refurbished and new brake lines were fitted together with new brake servo and master cylinder. Finished in Connaught Racing Green, powered by the great and refreshed 3.0 Ford Essex V6 with reconditioned heads, new water pump, new alternator, new electronic ignition system, new coil and plugs, mated to a Mazda RX8 five speed gearbox. It has black leather seats and a new aero screen. It has refurbished 15” knock on wire wheels, new lights, leather bonnet and boot straps, stainless steel petrol filler cap, new wood steering wheel and it has an aluminium panelled boot large enough for a couple of small suitcases or soft bags. Its twin double exhausts provide the backdrop sound when being driven swiftly and, with its evocative looks and lively performance, this 1950s style sports car is just great fun! The car comes with a UK V5C and is correctly registered with the DVLA, also benefitting from full ‘Historic’ status, tax and MoT exempt. It's worth noting that the car will accommodate larger drivers – the current owner being 6' 2, 17 stone and fitting with ease! Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

2004 Maserati 4200 Cambiocorsa Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:90000The Maserati 4200 is an evolution from the previous model 3200 and also a reference to the increase in engine size from 3.2 to 4.2 litres. The Spyder was first unveiled to the public at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show with the Coupé's debut following shortly after at the 2002 Detroit Motor Show. Both cars were designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign and were a true four-seater capable of comfortably seating two adults in the back. The naturally aspirated V8 engine was based on a Ferrari unit producing 385hp at 7000rpm; the gearbox was a six-speed unit that was available either as a GT (manual) or CC (Cambiocorsa) using paddle shifters. The Cambiocorsa ('race change' in Italian) is an electro-hydraulic manual transmission that uses a Formula One type gearbox with hydraulic operation and electronic management operated by F1-style paddles behind the steering wheel. The gearbox is located at the back of the car with the rear differential giving equal weight distribution between the front and rear of the car and providing better road holding. This stunning example presents extremely well in gleaming black paintwork with a black leather interior. The look is enhanced with grey alloy wheels and red brake calipers. When requested the V8 engine roared into life and we are informed the car is a pleasure to drive. The tremendous condition of the car is complemented by a good service history with the majority of the works being completed by either Maserati franchised garages or marque specialists. The most recent service was completed 1,100 miles ago and this Italian thoroughbred has also benefitted from a new clutch. Offered to auction with two sets of keys, a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 25th November 2021, this extremely reasonably priced Maserati should generate much interest.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1973 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:72279The Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, however the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. In total 94,619 TR6s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.This stunning example was the winner of ‘Best Standard Car’ at the 2017 TR Register International Weekend. The car has been subject to a full body off restoration with photographic record, the works included restoring or replacing all parts during the rebuild and the file for this Triumph contains invoices totalling over £32,000 from specialist restorers RBW Motors of Skelton Co. Durham. Fitted with the desirable overdrive, twin stainless steel exhaust, electric thermostatic fan, walnut dash and Moto-Lita steering wheel, this is one of the finest examples we have seen and, we are told it’s a joy to drive. In rare deviation from standard the car is fitted with the popular upgrade of Mazda MX5 seats however, the original seats are also supplied. The impressive looks of this Wedgewood Blue TR are enhanced by a dark blue fabric hood and tonneau cover. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a Heritage Certificate confirming the car as an original home market right hand drive example and although exempt a fresh MoT test certificate.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray 427 Transmission: manualMileage:59560The Corvette Stingray had grown to be America's most popular sports car since its debut in 1953 but it was time for a change for the 1963-1967 models. Even the most superlative design grows whiskers after a decade and Chevrolet Chief, Bill Mitchell and stylist, Larry Shinoda, faced a tough task; to improve a living legend. Not only did they succeed but their creation turned into a modern classic and they created the most collectible Corvette of them all, sending sales soaring to record levels. Seeds were planted by the Stingray Special racer and experimental XP-720 which displayed a smooth fastback profile and split back window. These and other styling details such as pivoting hidden headlights, doors cut into the roof, and a swage line dip all wound up in the production Stingray. The four headlights aligned with the pointy front end when shut, rotating open when needed. Luggage space grew, though lack of a boot lid earned few plaudits. There was less fibreglass but nearly twice as much steel in the sculptured body, which rode a shorter 98-inch wheelbase. This truly stunning example of the 427 Corvette C2 Stingray was first manufactured in St Louis, Missouri by GM in June 1967 and supplied by Orr Chev-Cadillac in Texas, confirmed by the NCRS Judging Chairman Tom Falconer in a dating certificate included in the history file. The car is presented in a stunning combination of near unmarked metallic Marlboro Maroon coachwork with full black trim, the Stinger hood (Bonnet bulge) which was a 1967 BB option only and all the chrome trimmings one would expect. From new it was specified with factory air conditioning - rare for a convertible - and features the Rallye wheels again a 1967 only option and the side exhaust which sounds fabulous. Being the big block 427ci V8 with 390 bhp this example also ticks the box for power and the ability to really surprise modern day traffic. We can ascertain from the history file that the car was purchased by an Italian collector in Parma in 2015 from a Mr Crecos in Illinois, USA an NCRS member who had the car restored. Once in Italy an engine fault resulted in the owner spending circa €30,000 on an engine rebuild and upgrades to the lights for Italian roadgoing reasons. Our vendor, who had been searching for a top notch C2, flew to Parma in 2016 having heard that post rebuild, the collector was looking to sell his example and buy a Porsche 356 Speedster. After a coffee and inspection he fell in love and made an offer before purchasing and sending the car back to the UK. Having already had an engine rebuild, our vendor was aware it would benefit from a gearbox rebuild and, wanting the car to be absolutely perfect for him, he decided almost immediately to commission Claremont Corvette in April 2016 to rebuild the gearbox. Our vendor now states the car runs and drives superbly and invoices for all the work undertaken during its time in Italy and the UK can be found within the history file alongside manuals, history and title reports, NCRS communication and dating certificate, US certificate of title, Italian papers and UK V5C certificate.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1979 Porsche 911 / 930 Turbo by RUF BTR Transmission: manualMileage:147943Those that know Porsche, know RUF. As AMG is to Mercedes-Benz, RUF take already formidable driving machines and turn them into psychotic hooligans. In a small village in the Allgau region, west of Munich, is the home of RUF Automobile GmbH, a small company who, in conjunction with Porsche, has rewritten the rule books using their own very special font. Production began in earnest in 1983 with the first vehicle to bear a RUF chassis number, a 3.4 litre Turbo model pushing out 374hp through a RUF developed five-speed manual gearbox, arrived. It wasn’t just about raw power; a special instrument was developed, twin spark plugs installed, RUF harness, seats and steering wheel. These upgrades were all cloaked in a new RUF BTR (standing for Group B Turbo RUF) Turbo bodywork.RUF concentrates not only on engine, transmission and body, but also on wheels and brakes with RUF 17” forged Speedline alloy wheels complementing the model range as well RUFs classic four-pipe exhaust and 17” tyres (originally developed for the 959) resulting from a close co-operation with tyre manufacturer, Dunlop. The CTR followed, a lightweight coupé powered by a 469hp, 3.4 litre, twin-turbo engine. This ‘Yellowbird’ as it came to be known, set new benchmarks for street-legal, performance sports cars. It destroyed its peers such as the Ferrari F40, AMG Mercedes-Benz and even the works-tuned Porsche 959. It was in that same year that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) certified RUF as an automobile manufacturer in its own right. To this day RUF continues to source 'bodies-in-white' directly from Porsche to then produce bespoke sports cars to their new owner’s specification and with each very special set of characteristics. This early lefthand drive RUF BTR with a 3.3 turbo engine is believed to be one of between 70 and 80 examples bearing an original Porsche chassis number and the car still features on their website.First registered in 1979, this Porsche 911/930 Turbo was significantly upgraded to BTR specification in circa 1985 using original RUF parts. The plaque on the glovebox indicates the conversion was completed by the authorised Japanese RUF importer, Ishida Engineering, in conjunction with RUF HQ. Indeed, the RUF factory in Pfaffenhausen, Germany, has supplied a recent letter confirming the originality of all RUF parts and modifications.• RUF five-speed gearbox• RUF single piece forged Speedline alloy wheels (9x17 & 10x17)• RUF twin double tailpipes and exhaust muffler• RUF cockpit Turbo Boost Control• RUF Turbo body kit: deeper bumpers front and rear, and thicker-set side skirts,• RUF badged engine lid• RUF DTM grafted racing wing mirrors• RUF embossed steering wheel• RUF badged instrument cluster with turbo boost gauges• RUF embossed gear lever• RUF floor carpets• Ishida Engineering/RUF plaque on the glovebox• Original RUF specified Recaro racing bucket seats with harnessesSpecified originally in Grand Prix White, this purposeful-looking BTR is fully registered in the UK, fully serviced and comes with a full up-to-date MoT test certificate. Importantly though, it also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche themselves as well as a Certificate of Authenticity from RUF.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 2004 Ferrari 575M Maranello Transmission: automaticMileage:11094The Ferrari 575M Maranello is a two-seat, two-door, grand tourer which was launched in 2002, it is essentially an updated 550 Maranello featuring minor styling changes from Pininfarina. The 575M was replaced by the 599 GTB in the first half of 2006. Updates from the 550, included a renewed interior, but with substantial improvements mechanically, including bigger brake discs, a larger and more powerful engine, improved weight distribution, refined aerodynamics and fluid dynamics along with an adaptive suspension set-up (the four independent suspensions are also controlled by the gearbox, to minimize pitch throughout the 200 milliseconds shift time). Two six-speed transmissions were available; a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli's semi-automatic (Electro hydraulic manual) 'F1' gearbox. The 575 model number refers to total engine displacement in litres, whilst the 'M' is an abbreviation of modificato ('modified').This Ferrari 575M, offered in the desirable colour combination of Verde Zeltweg Green over a beige leather interior, was acquired by the current vendor in 2007 and has resided in his private collection since. During his tenure, it has been maintained where necessary and has covered a mere 11,094 miles from new. The paintwork and interior are in fine fettle with no sticky dashboard issues, common with Ferraris of this era. The vendor reports that it runs and drives very well indeed and has recently been treated to a cambelt service in August 2021 by Ferrari Specialists, Rardley Motors. Contained within the history file is a collection of maintenance invoices detailing the care of ownership coupled with the original Ferrari booklets with continuous service stamps, previous Mot test certificates and the UK Registration document. Also included are the original maintenance booklets and tool kit. This very well priced, striking example is one of the best we have seen and is an opportunity not to be missed. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1955 AC Ace Transmission: manualMileage:2An influential and widely imitated design, the AC Ace (and its Cobra derivative) could trace its origins back to a one-off sports-racer built by chassis engineer John Tojeiro for Cliff Davis in 1952. The success of Davis' Tojeiro sports-racer prompted AC Cars to acquire the rights to the design, which was put into production in 1954 as the Ace. The Davis car's pretty Ferrari 166 inspired Barchetta bodywork was retained, as was Tojeiro's twin-tube ladder frame chassis and Cooper-influenced all-independent suspension, but the power unit was AC's own venerable, 2.0 litre, long-stroke six. Designed by AC co-founder John Weller, this overhead-camshaft engine had originated in 1919 and with a modest 80bhp (later 100bhp) on tap, endowed the Ace with respectable, if not outstanding, performance. Nevertheless, in tuned form the Ace enjoyed great success in production sports car racing, winning its class at the Le Mans 24 Hour Race in 1959.In 1954 AC added a hardtop version - the fastback-styled Aceca - and both models later became available with the more powerful Bristol engine before production ceased in 1963. Towards the end of production, the Ace was also available with the 2.6 litre overhead-valve Ford Zephyr engine installed. Only 223 cars were delivered with the 2.0 litre AC engine compared with 463 Bristol-engined cars and a further 37 Ford-powered examples.Chassis number ‘AE44’ is one of the earliest production cars, finished by the factory in green body colour, trimmed in beige leather and fitted with the AC six-cylinder engine ‘UMB2102-H’. Supplied as Ex-Works on 31st January 1955 and brokered through Swanmore Garage, Bournemouth to its first custodian Mr. F Richards of Poole, Dorset. The next significant owner was Mr. H.E.M Russel of Danemoor, Malvern. He was the custodian of the car from 1975-1999, during this time it was solely used for gentle road use. Shortly after the car was marketed by The Car Centre in 1999, it passed to the most recent custodian who embarked on a, from the ground up, body-off restoration to the highest standard. Brooklands Motor Cars Ltd were approached to attend to all the chassis work for the motorcar, including local repairs whilst retaining as much of the original framework as possible. The rest of the restoration was kept to the highest standard including a full rebuild of the current engine ‘UMB1219’ by Tyler Motorsports of Kingstone, Hereford. Coachwork, paintwork and the upholstery were undertaken by AC Heritage Works, based at Brooklands. The period livery consists of a black leather interior paired with the period AC racing green. A fitting colour for the Ace as in 2019 it was the 60th anniversary since the AC works team won their class at Le Mans in 1959.We are delighted to present AE44 to the auction, it’s the first time this car has come to the market in two decades. 1985 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Transmission: manualMileage:206000A modern classic by Pininfarina, the simple yet elegant Spider bodywork that premiered on the 1966 Alfa Romeo Duetto would prove enduringly popular, lasting into the 1990’s. All S3 2000 Alfa Romeo’s were produced left hand drive however a select few dealers such as Lombarda and Bell & Colvill used Ellisons of Hull to convert these prior to sale from new, with all UK S3 therefore missing a passenger’s side glovebox. The Pininfarina designed Alfa Romeo offered here was manufactured during 1985 and first registered in the UK on 6th August 1985 in right hand drive guise. Our vendor purchased the car in 2016 as a stalled project and set to work by fitting new outer sills and having the car fully repainted in Alfa Romeo Rosso. Whilst trying to keep as much originality as possible, the seats needed reconditioning and the car was also treated to a Quadrifoglio Verde front spoiler; a preferred option and deemed an improvement on the Series Three Aerodynamica chin spoiler. The vendor reports that mechanically the car is in great shape with recent replacement engine mounts and a rebuilt gearbox by Bob Dove racing just last year. The suspension was also overhauled recently with all bushes and springs being replaced and it also boasts Koni shock absorbers all round, a new servo, starter and radiator. Our vendor has driven the car all over the UK, including trips to Scotland stating ‘It's a great car for circumnavigating lochs and tracking coastlines and is very comfortable and capable over long distances’. 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Transmission: manualMileage:51921The Ferrari 360 was manufactured from 1999 to 2005 and succeeded the F355. It is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, V8 powered coupé and Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilised a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite what looked like, on paper, as modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena followed later by the 360 Spider and finally, as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. There were 8,800 Modena's and 7,565 Spiders produced of which, in the UK, only 352 were manual gearbox Modena’s and 478 manual Spiders. This is one of the 352, six-speed manual, Ferrari 360 Modena UK right hand drive cars. Delivered by Maranello Concessionaires in July 2000, it was supplied with sport exhaust, rear challenge grille, yellow brake calipers and Scuderia shields on the wings. This car comes with a very good service history:-26.07.2000 pdi Maranello Ferrari Egham22.06.2001 @ 6,269 miles Carrs Ferrari Exeter Major Service22.07.2002 @ 13,417 miles Carrs Ferrari Exeter Major Service09.09.2004 @ 23,112 miles Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham14.10.2006 @ 27,063 miles Ferrari specialist22.03.2007 @ 30,345 miles Ferrari specialist Major including belts and new clutch27.03.2008 @ 31,891 miles Ferrari specialist18.05.2009 @ 34,276 miles Ferrari specialist08.08.2010 @ 36,497 miles Ferrari specialist including belts07.10.2011 @ 37,730 miles Ferrari specialist05.11.2012 @ 39,690 miles Ferrari specialist05.09.2013 @ 44,850 miles Ferrari specialist06.05.2014 @ 45,320 miles Ferrari specialist including belts17.04.2015 @ 47,972 miles Ferrari specialist29.06.2016 @ 48,488 miles Ferrari specialist22.12.2017 @ 50,490 miles Ferrari specialist21.05.2019 @ 51,166 miles Ferrari specialist GTO Engineering who carried out major service, replaced the cambelts, rebuilt the gearbox, replaced the front upper and lower ball joints and renewed the rear lower ball joints and suspension bushes at a cost of £20,000. 1979 Ford Capri MK. III 3.0S Transmission: manualMileage:93540Production of the all new Capri was started a few months before its debut at the 1969 Brussels International Motor Show. The early start to production gave the marketing team at Ford the opportunity to leave examples of its new model parked near the entrance to 150 railway stations and outside prominent buildings. The plan obviously worked as initial sales exceeded the predicted demand by 100%. The Capri bridged the gap between a traditional two-seater sports car and the family saloon. This new eye-catching fastback style car was both new in its looks and offered a wide choice of engines ranging from 1.3 litre to a 3.0 litre V6. The Mk. III version was launched in 1978 and with a facelift which included quad headlights and wrap around bumpers that offered a more modern shape and improved dynamics which naturally improved the performance and economy. Although the Ghia model was the best seller of its day, the 3.0S was and is generally regarded amongst enthusiasts as the most desirable model.Originally registered on 1st August 1980, this stunning Capri is finished in the great colour combination of black with period correct Carla cloth interior. Subject to an extensive restoration which included taking care of all the bodywork, interior trim and an engine rebuild. This 3.0S is superb in every way; turn the key and fire up the three litre Essex engine and you are immediately greeted with the familiar sound of this great power plant. We are advised on the road this car drives as good as she looks, the manual gearbox operating smoothly and efficiently through the gears. Supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 22nd February 2022 together with a substantial history file including receipts for the restoration and engine rebuild. A perfect opportunity to own a British iconic classic, which is expected to appreciate over time.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Transmission: manualMileage:21500General Motors designer Harley Earl loved sports cars and was influenced by the GI’s bringing home MGs, Jaguars, Alfa Romeo’s and the like after hostilities ceased in Europe in 1945. Even the small independent carmaker, Nash Motors, began selling a two-seater sports car in 1951. Earl convinced GM that they also needed to build a two-seat sports car. Earl and his 'special projects' crew began working on the new car later that year which was code named 'Opel'. The result was the 1953 Corvette, which took its name from a small, manoeuvrable fighting frigate and was unveiled to the public at that year's Motorama Car Show. This superb left hand drive, manual gearbox example is presented in Polo White with silver panels and Sportsman Red interior with chrome five blade wheels and all appear to have been well restored. Upon import, the car was further improved, it was fully resprayed by a company experienced working with fibreglass and at the same time the suspension was updated, it is now fitted with a front suspension clip utilising later Corvette C5 components; this results in a far more modern and enjoyable driving dynamics, however, in the interest of originality the removed suspension set up and wheels are included in the sale. The original dynamo has been fully rewound and reconditioned and the points replaced with a Crane Carns ‘pointless’ system making for easier starting. By 1961, the C1 was at the end of almost 10 years of development and these very late, pre-Stingray, cars are probably the most desirable. It is supplied with a UK V5 registration document and several invoices.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1975 Triumph Stag Transmission: automaticMileage:82290The ‘Stag’ name was a development codename allocated when the design project was initiated by Giovanni Michelotti in 1965. None of the subsequent names suggested through the process were ever deemed more compelling. 55 years later the Triumph Stag occupies one of the cornerstones of the collector’s car market. The svelte Michelotti styling married to decadent V8 power makes this model both beautiful to look at and enormous fun to drive. Add to that a thriving club network, makes for hugely desirable ownership.Registered on 1st February 1975, this privately entered Stag is finished in the rare ‘Topaz’ colour scheme with black interior and comes with its original factory hardtop and hardtop stand. Our vendor purchased the vehicle from Historics in September 2020, it was entered by the previous owner who purchased the car in January 2019 as a ‘Condition 1’ vehicle. JBN 370N had been subject to a bare metal renovation for which there is a dedicated colour hardback book in the history file photographically documenting the work. However, the then owner, in search of perfection, also commissioned Stag Specialists E.J. Ward Motor Engineers, in September 2019, at a cost of £5400 to rebuild the engine fully with the addition of uprated oil pump. Trevor Farrington Ltd refitted the engine along with the refurbished automatic gearbox and, over a 13 month period, the car spent most of its time at their workshops receiving further various improvements, including uprated radiator, electric water pump conversion, new steering rack, brakes, driveshafts, alternator, premium tyres, headlining, sill covers and a host of other refinements. All in all, the cost for this work amounted to over £34,500 on top of the cost of the aforementioned engine rebuild and the owner’s not inconsiderable outlay for the car in the first place. Consequently, the car wanted for very little and was reported to drive as if new, although possibly with greater reliability. Since its purchase in 2020 however, during the pandemic personal reasons have meant that this car has remained in a professional storage facility and our vendor is now selling the car in the same condition as when offered just a year ago. There is a substantial history file accompanying the car which covers the majority of its life and includes the original Triumph Passport style Service booklet. This represents a very rare and tempting opportunity to own one of the best Stags in the country.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:45228In 1975, the Jaguar E-Type finally gave way to an all new and more efficient Jaguar, the Jaguar XJS. This new luxury grand tourer, although never quite having the same sporting image as the E-Type, was actually more aerodynamic with the final example leaving the production line on 4th April 1996; at that stage 115,413 units had been manufactured during a 21 year production life. Power came from the Jaguar V12 engine with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission although the manual gearbox was soon dropped. V12 engine cars were unusual at the time with notable exceptions coming from Italian luxury sports car makers Lamborghini and Ferrari. The specifications of the XJS compared well with both Italian cars; it was able to accelerate to 60mph in 7.6 seconds and had a top speed of 143mph.This Jaguar was originally registered on 22nd March 1990 and presents in delightful condition. The Signal Red coachwork is unmarked as is the Magnolia interior. Having covered only 45,228 miles from new and with a good service history, it is clear that this has been a very well cared for motor vehicle. Recent servicing has been thorough with no expense spared and has included inner and outer track rod ends, track rod boot covers, a new rotor arm, a new window motor, four new rear springs, four new tyres and a full service, a new distributor cap, high performance ignition leads and spark plugs, a new battery and the air conditioning has been re-gassed. Turn the key and the V12 engine started immediately. Following the recent expenditure, we are advised the car drives with no known faults and the electric hood works exactly as it should. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full years MoT test certificate and the original service books. XJS Convertibles have been increasing in value of late, a low ownership example such as this, together with low mileage and in fabulous condition makes this a highly desirable Jaguar.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
