Victorian Royal Marines Light Infantry Officers Shako Badge Circa 1860, fine gilt rayed star with Victorian crown replacing the top point, Gibraltar top scroll, laurel wreath overlay with central strap having motto set on blue enamel backing and silvered globe to the centre, anchor below strap and silvered strung bugle below. Two lug fittings to the reverse. Remains in very good condition.
Victorian Royal Marine Light Infantry Officers 1878 Pattern Helmet Plate, fine quality eight pointed star backing plate with the top point being replaced by Victorian crown, GIBRALTAR scroll and laurel wreath with anchor, central strap with motto set upon blue enamel backing and silvered globe, bottom point of plate fitted with silvered strung bugle. Reverse of the plate complete with three lug fittings.
German Dress Bugle 31 inch long brass bugle with banner fitting rings. The end with crowned maker “Schuster & Co Markneukirchen”. Complete with white metal mouthpiece. Brass tarnished. Together with a Reserve Officer walking stick. Red, white and black braid covered stick with cord binding and lower silk tassels. The white metal top now with helmet absent. 2 items.

Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Together with a late 19th century court dress sword. Plain triangular hollow ground form blade. Cut steel boat shell guard, grip and pommel. Mother Goose or The Golden Egg. A single story sheet of three sections, joined, comprising six panels, each hand-coloured and depicting a scene from the story of Mother Goose, captioned beneath, the upper panel with a general title and price in upper margin, rather creased, edges very slightly chipped, repaired, 98mm x 318mm, [c.1770] RARE. This early example of a single-sheet book provides no details of publisher or date. The upper margin carries the title, 'Mother Goose or the Golden Egg Pr.1s.' The six panels provide the narrative in abbreviated form; [1.] 'Mother Goose brought before Squire Bugle, Colin rescues her.' [2.] 'She gives Colin the Goose which lays the golden Egg.' [3.] 'Changes Colin to Harlequin & the Squire to Clown.' [4.] 'The Clown's drollery at Vauxhall.' [5.] 'The Clowns elevation at Supper.' [6.] 'Ye Patrons kind who deign to view " The sport we'd fain produce " Accept our wish to pleasure you " And laugh at mother Goose.'

Sword: An 1827 Pattern Rifle Officers sword by Wilkinson Sword, logo but no number to blade. Indian Government stamp to Ricasso, W/D Arrow stamp and 'I' (India) I.S.D. - Indian Subordinate Department. Steel guard with strung bugle device. Good wirebound fishskin grip. In its black leather field service scabbard dated 1915, 1917 & 1935. Frog tab absent. A good quality sword in fine condition.
