Is rather well worn throughout as per use and age. With this being evident to the leather throughout. Additional images illustrate this.
Seven display cards with various Victorian and Edwardian beadwork and motif examples, to include a large jet and sequin motif on net lace, leaf motifs, bugle beads, fringe motifs, floral examples, a Victorian beaded collar, etc (7). CONDITION REPORT The majority have been taken from antique and vintage textiles, they are in various conditions, all useable.
A large quantity of display cards with Victorian, Edwardian and later bead trims, to include sequin motifs on net, jet beaded examples, coloured beaded examples, large butterfly, Whitby jet examples, sequinned and beaded collars, gold bugle bead examples, etc. CONDITION REPORT They are all originally taken from other garments, most are in good antique, vintage textiles condition. Some do have some missing areas or missing beads.
A group of Victorian, Edwardian and later textiles, to include a c1920s chiffon and net jet beaded dress with V-neck back, dropped waist and chiffon sleeves (af), a Victorian black silk and satin beadwork collar with bugle bead fringing, an Edwardian black silk Mandarin-style jacket with French knot and bead decoration, an Edwardian black silk blouse with floral lace inserts to bodice and sleeves and a Victorian black velvet jet embellished evening jacket with cape, Mandarin collar, lace panel to the front, lace insert panels to the full sleeves, with black satin ribbons (5). CONDITION REPORT In various conditions, all af and in need of attention, but are exquisite examples of textiles beadwork, suitable for repair or other projects.
Four Edwardian and later items of clothing comprising an Edwardian black silk beaded and sequinned top, with full-length sleeves and black satin trim, a central panel of sequin on net to a deep lace trim to the waist, a mid-20th century black net drop-waisted full-length evening dress in the 1920s style, with all-over bead embroidery, a similar period full-length shift dress, black silk chiffon, with all-over bead embroidery and a c1920s flapper dress with all-over black bead decoration, with red bugle bead floral decoration to the bottom (4). CONDITION REPORT All in quite good antique/vintage textile condition. The dress with red floral beading has areas of missing beadwork to the top of panels.
A group of circa 1960s ladies' vintage clothing to include a Mansfield 100% pure wool two-piece suit, a black pencil skirt with three buttons to the base and a matching black and white houndstooth long jacket with gilded knot buttons in the style of Chanel, a Peter Baron of London black velvet two-piece suit with A-line panel skirt and fitted jacket with over-stitching to the lapel and pockets, a Jaeger V-necked single breasted jacket in camel and black chevron design with black fabric border, a John Charles black sequinned bolero evening cardigan, a black drop-waisted knee-length evening dress with cap sleeves and overall floral applied midnight blue bugle beads, and a black lace two-piece sleeveless shift dress with pleated silk chiffon panel to the top and a bolero jacket, all size 10 and 12 (6).

An 1827 pattern Rifles officers sword 32½in. (82.5cm.) fullered blade, etched with arabesques and the Victoria crown to one side, the other with similar decoration, inlaid proof at forte, the gothic style basket with crowned Rifle Brigade bugle, wire bound shagreen grip, in leather scabbard.

THURKLE, SOHO A PRESENTATION PATT. 1827 RIFLE BRIGADE SWORD TO AN OFFICER IN THE MADRAS VOLUNTEER RIFLE CORP, 37th, Madras Army Regt. and dated for 1880, with broad blind fullered 33in. slightly curved blade, the left face etched with scrolls and arabesques together with a 'V.R.' device and Queen's crown, the reverse with similar scrolls interwoven with a banner reading 'PRESENTED TO MAJOR CROWLE ON HIS PROMOTION BY THE OFFICERS, NON COM'S. & PRIVATES OF No6. COM'Y 37TH M.R.V.C. AS A MARK OF THEIR ESTEEM JAN'Y 10TH 1880', makers signature to left at forte and inlaid proof mark to the right, gothic three-bar iron hilt bearing the pierced device of the Rifle Regiment bugle, wire-bound fishskin grip and stepped doveshead pommel, complete in its iron scabbard with leather frog (frog distressed, mild staining throughout but minimal to blade).
