A 1970's Jean Varon Maxi Tent dress. The dress is made from volumes of black sateen pleated at the front and back with a bold white flower print and gold geometric pattern. Long puffed sleeves pulled in at the cuffs with two buttons. Pockets on both sides. A large 70's collar, buttons with hidden metal zip below. Large Size. A further 1970's jersey tricelon 'hershelle' long dress with bat wings. The front yoke is embellished with sequins and bugle beads. 30" waist. (2)

An interesting 1892 type officer’s sword of the 1st Vol Bn Cheshire Regt, straight fullered blade 32½”, by Hobson & Sons, 1, 3, 5 Lexington St, London W, etched with crowned interlaced VR cypher, strung bugle and regimental title with owner’s monogram WAR(?), in scrolled panels, brass triple bar hilt incorporating crowned Ed VII cypher, plain pommel, chequered backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings. GC, the blade retaining some original polish (dark pitting speckles to blade overall, dark rust patina to scabbard). Plate 3
