A 1930s Art Deco Lederer de Paris lady's envelope purse bag with black bugle beads and matt gold running stitch detailing, all to a matt black ground, the interior in black satin with various pockets, retains mirror stamped Lederer de Paris in gold, 24cm x 16cm, together with a 1920s beadwork purse with a pink rose like flower against a blue ground with patterned edge, the silver plated hinged and joint clasp opening to a square neck, length 24cm. A Group of Four Nymphenburg Porcelain Hunting Figures, coloured in enamels and raised on naturalistic bases, comprising: a Huntsman on horseback with hounds, two further mounted huntsman, and a pair of hounds; together with A Further White Porcelain Figure, of a Huntsman on horseback (5)Nymphenburg Rider on Horseback - horses reigns broken and lacking to one side, otherwise OK. Horse and rider - lacking reigns, tail and element to the rider's hand. Rider and Hounds - appears to be in good order. Rider and Bugle - lacking reigns. Running hounds - appear in good conditon.
Militaria - comprising two copper and brass Royal Engineers bugles, collection of trench art including a spitfire 16 x 13 cms, a peak cap 11 cms diameter, stetson 12 x 10 cms, Royal Engineers brass match box holder 6 x 4 cms, an inkwell in the form of a horse hoof dated January 1868 engraved 'Deeds not Words' which was a phrase used by 22 Infantry during the American Civil War, miniature bugle, two binoculars. This lot includes eight commemorative horse brasses including Edward VII coronation, Silver Jubilee of QEII, Nottingham Castle, One Shilling 1928, Potcysyllte Aqueduct, Long Live the Queen 1953 and Prince and Princess of Wales horse brass.

90th (Perthshire Volunteers) 1853 Officer South Africa Medal. Awarded to CAPT W.V.JOHNSON 90TH REGT. Retaining original ribbon and buckle pin ... together with rectangular gilt waist belt plate mounted with crowned strap THE PERTHSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY with attenant Union sprays resting on bundle of rods and axe. Centrally a strung bugle over XC (part of C absent). Reverse impressed with Feur de Lys; fittings no longer present. (2 items) Captain William Victor Johnson was appointed an Ensign in the 90th Foot June 1840 and promoted Lieutenant 1845 and Captain 1849. Rife Brigade Edwardian / George V Officer Astrakhan Cap. A superb example of black astrakhan wool, with green cloth top with ornate figure in black Russia braid. Black cord lines forming a plaited festoon at the front. Black corded boss bearing King crown above a bugle-horn. The interior with leather sweatband dark cloth lining. A plume holder supports a black ostrich feathers and black vulture feather plume. Housed in original metal transit/storage tins for the cap and plume (hasp on one AF). VGC Near unworn condition. * Rice Oxley (Margaret, 1888-1968). Original illumination titled Blow Bugle Blow, pen, ink, and watercolour on parchment, comprising 3 verses written in a calligraphic hand in red and black ink, with title, first word of each stanza, and initial letters of each line in gold (rubbed in places revealing bole beneath), pen, ink, and watercolour border depicting fairies and elves, a dragon, and a castle, with 'M Rice Oxley' pencilled on verso (in the artist's hand?), faint crease lower left corner, sheet size 21.2 x 16.1 cm, mounted (29.3 x 23.7 cm)QTY: (1)NOTE:It is surprising that so little is known about the artist Margaret Rice Oxley, given her obvious skill as a watercolourist. She is believed to have lived at Nyth Hill, near Shrewsbury, and she appears to have been primarily an illustrator of poetry and prose, although we have been unable to trace any publication bearing her work. Her paintings, which occasionally appear at auction, commonly depict fairy folk and fantastical scenes.
