A NINETEENTH/TWENTIETH CENTURY INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD MADE BY ROBERT MOLE & SONS BIRMINGHAM, the blade is clearly marked with the proof seal within a six pointed star and on the other side it has got ROB MOLE & SONS BIRMINGHAM makers to the war and Indian officers, the handle is wire bound and the steel hilt features a crown and an infantry bugle on it, the scabbard is leather and metal but this has split and needs a repair, it also has Wyatt's registered number 20052, the blade has the number M2696 on the blade towards the hilt, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request, condition report - Blade not bent, scabbard straight but has some creases, no movement to handle, scabbard split at seam, wire all attached and only a few kinks, blade approximately 82.5cm, scabbard approximately 84cm
