An early 20th century silk paisley shawl with boteh and other motifs in red, greens, blues and gold, with cream edges and silk fringing and a large black velvet hand stitched shawl lined with grey silk and decorated with silver sequins, bugle beads and red beads in an ornate foliate design, with individual hand stitched fringing to edges (2).Additional InformationThe black shawl is in excellent condition. A 3rd Royal Guernsey Light Infantry scarlet jacket, navy blue collar with leopards passant to either side the outer edges finished in a foliate design gold braid, twist epaulettes with single cruciform embroidered badge topped by button and 'M' below, eight gilt buttons to front with bugle and trefoil leaf design, centred by number '3', navy blue cuffs with gold embroidered bands, white / beige and goldish interior with concealed red leather belt, slit to rear with button to either side. Light staining and a few moth holes to front (sprayed moth repellent), overall very good.

A 2nd Royal Guernsey Light Infantry scarlet Mess jacket / tunic, black long collar, with leopards passant to either side, plain black epaulettes with single cruciform, four gilt buttons to front with hung bugle and trefoil leaf design, centred by number '2', black cuffs, quilted black cotton interior. (a/f) Moth holes and stains throughout (sprayed with moth repellent) fair.

A rare 3rd Battalion Royal Guernsey Militia belt buckle, two piece interlocking buckle, each section with scrolling belt inserts, one bearing a roundel having a strung bugle crest with the number '3' atop the bugle's central area, the second an open ring section with 'Royal Guernsey Militia' in capitals to the outside with white buff leather sword belt. Very light wear, belt with little staining, very good.

A 3rd Royal Guernsey Militia Victorian Officer's Green Cloth Home Service Helmet, the green cloth covered skull with gilt fittings including, rose bosses, quatre-foil mount with spike finial, QVC helmet plate with Regimental motto centred by Guernsey crest with hung bugle below with number '3', gilt metal chin chain/ strap with velvet backing, the interior with beige leather sweat band, green peak lining, quilted cream silk lining with maker's trade label for J. ROUGIER & SON HIGH ST GUERNSEY, complete with storage tin. Very good condition, nice and clean, original, tin showing rust.
