Victorian 60th (The Kings Royal Rifle Corps) Senior NCO’s Cross Belt, black patent leather cross belt fitted with a damaged and repaired senior NCO’s hallmarked silver (London 1835) cross belt plate. Attached to the cross belt is the officers whistle in fluted socket and patent leather pouch with strung bugle emblem to centre. Pouch missing one side fitting and detached from one side of the belt. Ideal for restoration, possibly been later collector assembled.

A Victorian rifle regiment officer's sword, etched blade with owner's initials 'R.C.L.', plated steel 'gothic' hilt with stringed bugle to the cartouche, chequered back strap, steel scabbard, partial sword knot and partial sword bag; together with a Royal Artillery officer's sword, George V, etched blade, three bar hilt, leather covered scabbard; and an 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, George V, brown leather sword knot, brown leather covered scabbard. 1827 Pattern Rifles Officer's Sword By Wilkinson32 1/2 inch, dumbell blade with central fuller. Etched Victorian crowned coat of arms over cypher and foliage panes. Entwined owner's initials. The forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London". Back edge numbered 38719. Steel guard with Kings crown strung bugle cartouche. Plain steel pommel and checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its steel scabbard with two hanging rings. Some plating loss.
7th Royal Lancashire Militia (Rifles) Officer’s Sword. good and scarce Victorian example of a Light Infantry pattern sword. The blade is with etched crowned, entwined VR cypher. The obverse with a strung bugle and title “LANCASHIRE 7 ROYAL RIFLES”. The open guard with crowned strung bugle device, shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Complete with a steel scabbard fitted with two loose rings. The overall condition is good, the sword has been professionally refurbished during its working life. Minor age wear. The 7th Royal Lancashire Militia (Rifles) was raised in Bury in 1855, it would later become part of the Lancashire Fusiliers.

The back of the car with the bugle man is marked for DRGM. Both in need of attention and both not running.

Tarnished, VGC Raised in 1859, retained its numeral through the 1880 changes and became 13th Bn. London Regt. (Kensington) in 1908.
