A Vic Rifle officer’s sword, slightly curved blade 32½”, by Brown & Co London, etched with crowned R Cypher, crowned strung bugle, in scrolled panels, regulation hilt incorporating crowned strung bugle, wirebound fishskin grip, in steel scabbard with 2 rings. Basically GC (dark rust patina to hilt and scabbard).

Pink knitted dress - bead losses and some trims loose, staining to the lining at the back of the neck, slight wear overall. Vedette of London coat - slight wear. Pink coat - slight wear overall and slight staining to the lining. Wallis coat - slight wear, stitched repair near one side seam. Diana Warren dress - slight wear overall, some yellowing to the fabric near the hem, couple of tiny stains to the front, and wear to sleeve holes. Brenner suit - slight wear to both and slight fading to the coat, handle broken to the zipper head. Chiffon dress - slight wear and some discolouration to the hem.

A group of three swords, comprising: an early 19th Century example of Light Infantry type, broad slightly curved blade 32.5 in., brass stirrup hilt with D-shaped langets, brass mounted leather scabbard; a British 1854 pattern infantry officer's sword, etched blade displaying the name F. Barker, with Henry Wilkinson patent 'solid hilt' and so marked on the blade - being a regulation 'gothic' hilt but formed of steel (originally gilded), brass mounted leather scabbard; and a light infantry officer's sword, etched blade, steel 'gothic' hilt with stringed bugle, steel scabbard. Three British regulation officer's swords: 1857 pattern Royal Engineers, etched blade with retailer's name of Joel Edward 9 Hanover Street, brass hilt pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage, chequered pommel, steel scabbard; rifle regiment pattern, George V, steel 'gothic' hilt incorporating stringed bugle, leather covered scabbard; Royal Artillery, plain fullered blade 1 in. wide at the shoulder, steel three-bar hilt with reeded bars, steel scabbard. Emmanuel Fremiet (1824-1910):- a 19th century French military equestrian bronze of a mounted trooper of the Chasseurs à Cheval of the Napoleon III eraReining in his mount, armed with sabre and carbine, his horse accoutred at either side with bags of forage, a bugle horn device on the back corners of his saddle cloth, signed on base 'E. FREMIET', 35cm high, 28cm wide.Fremiet was the leading animalier sculptor of his day and exhibited in the Paris Salon from the early 1840's. Between 1855/59 he made a series of military subjects for Napoleon III, none of which are said to have survived. He became a member of the Academies des Beaux Arts in 1892.
Sword: An 1827 Pattern Rifle Officers sword. Blade 32.5" by Robt Mole & Sons. Birmingham. Makers to the War & India Officers. Top of blade marked 'M3050'. Beautifully etched blade '1st Volunteer Bn The Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment'. Fine wirebound fishskin grip. Polished steel guard with string bugle logo. In its steel mounted (some pitting) leather scabbard with frog bar instead of hanging rings. An above average condition sword in excellent condition. Crown appears to be for Queen Victoria.
A SILVER PRESENTATION KUKRI etc to LT COL C D ROE DSO-OBE. A silver mounted Kukri with 12.1/2" rust stained blade, with its silver mounted scabbard present. Stamped on the scabbard is, To Col C D Roe DSO OBE, presented by the NCO's 2-5 G R. Ornately decorated with 1913 coin inset in the Indian silver, also red stones. The knife scabbard is present with one knife present. A silver match case with KC above crossed Kukris, and 1V and slung bugle below. An incomplete carved cigar box, with crown above crossed Kukris, above Vth and slung bugle. The mahogany box is lacking two partial ends below the lid. 8" x 5" x 3.3/4" domed lid. Charles Douglas Roe DSO (1915 France) later OBE, was born in 1882 at Plymouth Devon. He married Daisy B M Mackenzie-Kennedy (b.1883) in India in 1904 . One of their sons was Killed on Active Service aged 24, in Ireland in June 1942. Awaiting orders to join his ship, he was in a collision with another aircraft with his body not found.
A late 19th Century Davidson pressed glass vase in the form of a bugle atop a circular base in purple malachite, height 14cm, together with a late 19th Century Davidson blue malachite pressed celery vase with relief moulded scrolls and geometric border, together with another example with floral swag decoration in purple malachite and a pair of cornucopia forms in purple malachite, tallest 18.5cm.
