Victorian Aberdeenshire Rifle Volunteers Cross Belt & Pouch circa 1880, blackened brass cross belt badge of thistle wreath with circlet having motto and cross of St Andrew to the centre. Badge has three screw post fittings on the reverse. Black leather cross strap shows some wear and crazing. The pouch is fitted with two piece central badge of strung bugle and AVR in script. The pouch is in similar condition to the cross belt. One of the leather strap fittings connecting pouch to cross belt is damaged.
