A massive Sunderland armorial lustre bowl, Dixon Austin & Co., the exterior decorated with four panels including a West View of the Sunderland Bridge, shipping scenes and a mock armorial of farming implements above the motto 'God Speed the Plough', the interior with an armorial believed to be for the Delmy family amongst scientific instruments and rural figures, c.1810-20, extensively damaged and restored, 39cm.
A small Delftware wet drug jar, painted in blue with the inscription 'S:E:Spin:Cerv' within a scrolling cartouche of cherubs, shells and floral motifs, with strapwork handle and raised on a flared foot, c.1730-50, minor chipping, 17.5cm. Cf. John C. Austin, British Delft at Williamsburg, p.228 pl.539 for a similar example.
A Delftware blue and white teapot stand, probably London, painted with Oriental foliage before small buildings within a plumed border, raised on three flat scrollwork legs, c.1720, glaze chipping to the rim, a filled 5cm crack and some surface wear, 13.5cm. Cf. John C. Austin, British Delft at Williamsburg, p.115 for similar examples.
An early Chelsea fluted beaker, moulded with a spiralling pattern of flowering and fruiting branches, brightly painted with coloured enamels, unmarked, c.1748-52, a crack and several small chips to the rim, 7.5cm. Cf. J. Austin, Chelsea Porcelain at Williamsburg, no. 20 for a similar beaker.
