An Austin J40 Pedal Car with red paintwork which has been repainted at some time and appears generally G/G+ and complete although it does require a battery. Although not pictured attached to the car, a full set of chrome hub covers are present however, the bolts to attach these to the mounts are missing . A serial number is present in the boot 30803

(John Miller) 9ct gold.Joe Barrett played both codes for his club and captained the historic teams of 1931 which triumphed in both Football and Hurling, the only Club in Kerry to have been successful in both sports. Sporting Medals(A)Three variously designed Medals, awarded to Joe Barrett, uninscribed, hallmarked, two gold and one silver.9.Political Medal (Civil War)(A)A War of Independence bronze Medal, with black and tan ribbon and Celtic design clasp, the obverse with embossed design of armed soldier, Provincial arms, inscribed "Eire" across centre and "Cogadh na Saoirse" across the bottom. Scarce.·At the age of 15 Barrett became a member of the Irish Volunteers, with a hope to be instrumental in the establishment of independence for Ireland. Following the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty he took to the Republican side in the subsequent Civil War. He was arrested and interned in September of 1922 where he suffered severe hardship. He embarked on a 22 day Hunger Strike whilst imprisoned. He did however upon release go on to become a Kerry and Gaelic Football Legend. Austin Stack's Copy of "The Dutch Republic"[Clarke (Austin)] Morley (J.L.) The Rise of The Dutch Republic, 3 vols. L. n.d. New Edn., orig. cloth. (3)*Austin Stack's copy with his signature in each volume in Irish, 'Aibhistin de Staic,' and with his wife's visiting card laid in. Austin Stack (1880 -1929), from Tralee, was a founder member of the Irish Volunteers and a commandant during the Easter Rising. He was sent to meet Roger Casement at Banna Strand, but failed to make contact and was arrested. He was a minister in the first Dail, rejected the Treaty and was jailed during the Civil War. His health was damaged by a hunger strike in 1923, and died in 1929.

AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER (2002) - Mini Me's (Verne Troyer) Blue Velvet Costume A costume worn by Mini Me (Verne Troyer) in the Jay Roach comedy sequel Austin Powers in Goldmember. Mini Me wore his costume as he, Austin Powers (Mike Myers) and Foxxy Cleopatra (Beyoncé Knowles) infiltrate Dr Evil’s (Mike Myers) submarine. The costume is comprised of a blue velvet two-piece suit, white shirt, a pair of black leather Chelsea boots, a silver ball chain with two male symbol pendants, two pairs of red ribbed socks and three white leather belts. The suit features blue mother of pearl buttons on the front and cuffs, and a psychedelic, striped lining. The shirt features a lace front and cuffs, with a detachable lace bow tie. The interior jacket pocket is labelled ’Vern‘ and the inside of each boot is marked "Hero". The custom-made costume is accompanied by various wardrobe tags and a New Line Cinema letter of authenticity. VAT Status - Margin
A Tri-ang Spot On Jaguar 3.4, and five others, a Daimler SP250, a Rover 3 Litre, an Austin Healey, a Land Rover SWB, and a Fiat Multipla, all boxed (6) See illustration Condition report Report by GHBoxes generally well worn with splits and one with sellotape repair. Some pieces detached. The Daimler SP250 is generally in good condition with some very light paint loss underneath but bodywork is still in good condition with windscreen firmly attached and wheels generally good. The box for this car is in bad condition with sellotape repairs and large splits and the flap is lost at one end. The Land Rover has some small paint loss but generally good. The Rover is similar, as are the Jaguar 3.4, however the Austin Healey and the Fiat are slightly more worn, seemingly mainly attributed to taking them in and out of the boxes.None of the cars in the lot are heavily play worn.
