Condition of models varies from F to G+ with some repainting. Five reproduction boxes are also included as part of this lot. (5)
Royal Worcester; a large blush potpourri jar, lid with pierced floral decoration, body with painted floral sprigs, a further lidded jar with puce marks to base, a baluster vase signed R H Austin with rose decoration to body, a further smaller similar example, a blush ivory leaf-shaped bowl with gilt scrolling handle and floral decoration to centre with puce mark to base, a blush shaped circular bowl with rose and floral sprig decoration, two small leaf-shaped dishes and a small posy vase modelled as a flower (9). CONDITION REPORT Break and restoration to lid of potpourri jar. Dirt and surface wear, white flecks to larger jar with lid, break and restoration across lid leaf and vase. Break and restoration to top lip, frit to one leaf dish and to circular shaped edge bowl. Staple to handle of dish.

OMMANNEY, ERASMUS AUSTIN, VARIOUS DOCUMENTS CHARTING HIS NAVAL SERVICE FROM 1863-1887 BEFORE HE BECAME VICAR OF SOUTHSEA (1892-1915), NOVEMBER 1869-MAY 1887, with a portrait photograph of his father Erasmus Ommanney, the celebrated Arctic explorer. Five typed sheets and four vol. various sizes, (A lot), Sailed first for the Caribbean and then sailed up and down the American littoral from Canada to Chile (and a short stay in Hawaii) including a short stop in the Galapagos where they dined on duck and iguana. At St Helena he visited Napoleon's tomb and then returned to Plymouth via Ascension Island, Maderia and Vigo. On his holidays he visited the battle grounds of the Franco Prussian War and spent some time in the Tyrol. On his return he was promoted to lieutenant and in H.M.S. Rover he revisited the Caribbean where he visited, inter alia, Haiti (a good description), Cuba and Bermuda. Other volumes deal mostly with Ommanney's devotions and his 'Manual of Devotions for General Use for Naval Officers' and a vellum wallet binding with his name (blank).
ART & LITERATURE: A good, small selection of signed correspondence cards and letterheads, clipped piece (1) by various illustrators and writers comprising John Tenniel, Harry Furniss (bold example on the attractive printed stationery of Fair Game, dated March 1899 in his hand), Alfred Austin, H. A pair of late Victorian natural pearl and diamond drop earrings, the small button-shaped pearls suspend diamond bows and a drop-shaped natural pearl suspended within the diamond-set pear-shaped wreath. In silver and gold. 5.2cm long. Case by Austin & Williams. Accompanied by report number 5776-6595 dated 8th August 2016 from GCS, London stating that the four light grey and cream pearls measure approximately 6.2 x 5.5 x 4.8mm, 5.5 - 5.6 x 5.7mm, 7.8 - 7.9 x 12.4mm and 7.3 - 7.8 x 12.2mm and are natural saltwater pearls with no indications of treatment. The cream coloured drop-shaped pearl is fully drilled.

A quantity of Seven Club Newsletters, London Transport Collection brochure, list of spare parts, Buyers Guide of 1936 Austin Motor Cars,, Austin 7 Pictorial books, manuals and cigarette cards all collated in a red file. Provenance: Property of an Italian lady, originally from Rome, belonged to her late husband and formed part of his collection he was a Austin enthusiast and had many early vehicles in his collection.
