This delightful and very rare survivor from the "Austin rover" days, is a real find. Retaining its supplying dealer number plates and finished in Henley blue over tempest grey, this one registered keeper example is showing a little over 11,900 recorded miles and is a real time warp example that is good enough to show at club level. Examples of this 1980's family hatchback are getting very thin on the ground now and ones in this sort of condition are something of a rarity. The bodywork, paint finish, interior trim and carpets clearly show that the Austin has been cherished throughout her life and even comes complete with the original dealer PDI rear view mirror hanger and the spare wheel and tyre are in original and "as new" condition. On file is the original book pack complete with owner's manual and the original service booklet with various service stamps and a large number of previous MoT certificates and a current MoT into June 2015. The suspension has been uprated, disc brakes are fitted to the front and the sprite has recently been fitted with a new hood and comes complete with side screens. Offered with a current MoT into January 2016 the Sprite always puts a big smile on your face on the open road.
