Robert Austin, (1895-1973), A set of four etchings: young woman gazing at stars from a window; woman and child in a cradle with lilies; old woman at prayer; two women at prayer at an altar, all signed in pencil, one dated Nov 12 1935, one inscribed 5th state, sizes vary, 16.5 x 10 the largest. (4) Provenance: Robert Austin was a friend of the vendor, and these were a gift to her from him.

Gordon Crosby-designed members car badge, by GGL (B'Ham), 12cm., 4 1/2in. square, a silvered bar tray with impression of the members car badge engraved between B.A.R.C. and BROOKLANDS, 29cm., 11in., in diameter, a similarly engraved, gilded silvered tankard 13cm., 5in. high, a two-handled silvered sugar bowl by Viners of Sheffield, engraved B.A.R.C. and BROOKLANDS, 10cm., 4in., in diameter (5) Sammy Davis and the Earl of March were able to win the B.R.D.C. 500-mile race in a 750cc Austin against more powerful opposition, because it was run as a handicap event-a hangover from the horse racing scene that was peculiar to British motor racing.
