Du Maurier writes an informative letter regarding arrangements for her daughter, Tessa, whilst staying in London and states, in part, 'Tessa and Tod [Maud Waddell, Du Maurier's governess and friend] will catch the Riviera on Saturday, and arrive at Paddington about 5-15. Do you suppose Tommy [Lieutenant-General Frederick Browning, Du Maurier's husband] will meet them? Tod goes to the Rembrandt Hotel…..Tod has a hair appointment on the Monday morning, and then she and Tessa plan to lunch…..and see the Kings Pictures in the afternoon. On Tuesday Tessa has promised to spend the day with Nanny……On Wednesday Tessa and Tod plan to go to the film “Great Expectations” which comes on next week. On Thursday they go to King Lear……I think Tessa would love to go out one evening with Tommy, it would make her feel grown up. She is quite keen to see the Ballet, so that might be a good idea? If you get to the flat early-ish in the mornings, will you see that Tessa doesn't go out alone ever. She might think she is old enough to pop off to Peter Jones, but I don't like to think of her doing so! Somewhere in the bedroom I left a card of a woman who has a car for hire……She drives a small Austin car, and would be quite handy to take Tessa and Tod anywhere, if booked early in the day. A hypospray unit from the sci-fi television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Hypospray units were often used throughout all the Star Trek series, and were used prominently in the Season 3 Deep Space Nine episode "The Adversary", as a means of discovering a Changeling infiltrator. The unit is predominantly resin, with a clear plastic tube and a metal "injector" and button. The tube contains the dried remnants of a blue liquid, a similar colour to the blood taken from the Bolian officer (Jeff Austin) during the episode. The unit has some wear from production use and age, including some scuffing and scratches, and the button has become stiff. Dimensions: 12.5 cm x 3 cm x 15 cm (5" x 1 1/4" x 6")Estimate: £600 - 800 M

Rushton, factory marks printed to bases, including date codes, c.1923Condition Report – Coffee pot; crazing to the underside of cover, brown line runs around under the rim, possibly a fine crack, no obvious chips or restoration.  Milk jug; Some manufacturing blemishes, blown bubble where the top of the handle joins the body, and around gilded base where it meets the body, no obvious chips, cracks, or restoration, Sugar bowl; Some blemishes / scratches to the interior, manufacturing blemishes to the foot, the bottom edge where meets the body,  no chips, cracks or obvious restoration, Eight cups; A little wear, some minor blemishes, scratching to the gold lining, but really very good, no chips, cracks, or obvious restoration, Eight saucers; one saucer particularly crazed, both sides and manufacturing blemishes, one with noticeable crazing to underside, Overall I would say some minor blemishes some scratching to gilded centres, but no chips, cracks, or restoration, Overall; In my opinion very good condition
