All of the models, except for the Austin Healey, have some repainting. Boxes are F/G with the 106A/1 box having a split to one of the corners of the lid. (5)

A boxed Tri-ang Spot On 106A/1 'Austin Prime Mover with Articulated Flat Float with Sides' in orange. Scammell coupling mechanism appears complete although tractor unit and trailer have some chipping and paint wear, F/G, contained in a  generally G larger size original box with model description printed to one end of lid. A scarce 1959 Spot On Model Catalogue, F/G, is also included as part of this lot. (2)

14 Tri-ang Spot On model Data Sheets for various different cars including Aston Martin DB3, Austin Healey '100-Six', Bentley 4dr Sports Saloon,  Ford Consul Classic, Ford Zodiac, Jaguar 3.4, Jaguar XK SS, 2 for the Morris 1100, Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, two different versions of the Rover 3 Litre card,  Vauxhall Cresta, and 14' G.P. Sailing Dinghy.  Each of the earlier models in the range which were housed in all card boxes, were supplied with a 13 x 8cm paper data sheet which consisted of a colour picture of the vehicle on one side and technical specifications of the actual car on the reverse. Data sheets were then folded so that they could be accommodated in the rather small boxes. As a result, the cards in this lot have variable amounts of, predominantly vertical, folding and all are contained in seven clear plastic wallets. (14)

A LARGE VICTORIAN "REFORMED GOTHIC" EBONY AND IVORY INLAID OAK DRESSING MIRROR, IN THE MANNER OF CHARLES BEVAN, the cornice with balustrade pediment, the surround inlaid with ivory flowerheads with red dot centres, to each top corner an inlaid eight-pointed star within a roundel, supported on palmette topped supports carved with a boss, the brass clips stamped Cope & Austin Patent, all raised on a moulded and stepped rectangular platform base, unsigned. 98cm high, base 81.5cm wideSmall scuff to front of plinth. In original condition without repair. The mirror (not bevelled) holds various positions. Structurally very sturdy and finished at the back. In generally good condition commensurate with age.

Sincerely yours, Mark Twain Apl. 2/94," with Clemens drawing a downward pointing hand and immediately below, Edith Beaumont playfully identifies herself as "Next Witness," and a photograph of Clemens (2). Winston S. Churchill (3). Henry Morton Stanley autograph inscription quoting a couplet from Tennyson's Ode on the Death of the Duke of Wellington: "Not once or twice in our fair island-story/The path of duty was the way to glory." Stanley's favourite quote on his 1887 expedition up the Congo river (4).
