2015 Land Rover Defender 110 Pickup High CapacityReg. no. AO15 LFKChassis no. SALLDHTP7FA465392Engine no. TBCTransmission: ManualMileage: 33,106MOT: February 2024 The original Land Rover Defender had its final production year in 2015, this is one of those final production 4x4s. Not only is it a last year truck, but it comes in the very unusual heavy-duty pickup guise with just 33,000 miles which is backed up by online MOT history. The HC Pickup was designed to haul heavier payloads than any normal defender and they look fantastic, a sure-fire future classic commercial. This almost completely original Defender features the later 2.2 TDCi engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox which results in the best drive ever from the classic Defender shape. The HC allows for towing of up to 3500kg’s which is useful for those who put them to work, as well as a slightly wider rear bed to carry more goods or equipment.Supplied by Hunter Land Rover in Kings Lyn, this particular Defender is painted in Keswick green with white roof and white steel wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler mud tyres. The body, chassis and paint are in stunning condition with just minor marks and scratches to the inside pickup bed. The truck was believed to be previously used on an estate to haul grain and in its current ownership enjoyed as part of a collection. The grey cloth interior also remains in very good order and mechanically everything works as it should. The underside including chassis and wheel arches are still in near factory condition. The current owner reports that the vehicle is mechanically sound and drives as new but is due a service. This Land rover is ready to be used with a fresh MOT until February 2024 with no advisories. It comes with a V5C document and some paperwork.Estimate: £25,000 – 27,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. 1993 Rover Maestro Clubman DReg. no. L811 DOXChassis no. SAXXCHWJ7AM705044Engine no. BB504010662351Transmission: ManualMileage: 91,778MOT: Expired An often-overlooked car that graced the driveways of many UK families in the 1990s, the Rover Maestro was the reliable and dependable hatchback that superseded the Austin Allegro. The 5-door hatch pioneered some interesting features for its class including body coloured bumpers, Electronic engine management and adjustable height front seat belts. Fitted with the Perkins diesel like this clubman D, there are only 23 currently registered on UK roads.Acquired by its current owner in 2006, this Rover has enjoyed a quiet life in the Cotswolds being used as a run around until October 2018, since then it has been undercover. The blue paint with red pin stripe appears in good condition and the period alloy wheels really make the car stand out. The interior is also fair for its age whilst the engine and gearbox are reported to be in good working order. The only alteration from factory appears to be the fitting of a tow bar at some point. No longer required by its current owner, they wish to see it go to someone who will love and cherish what is now quite a rare car. Previous online and paper MOT history appear to back up the current odometer reading. The sale includes a current V5 document showing just three former keepers as well as old MOT’s and some parts receipts.Estimate: £1,000 - £1,500To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. 1988 Land Rover 90 County Estate D TurboReg. no. F607 SMUChassis no. SALLDVBB7FA366495Engine no. 19J21553CTransmission: ManualMileage: 140,613MOT: ExpiredAlthough not initially called the Defender, this iconic model was first produced from 1983 and was simply named the 90 or 110 depending on the wheelbase. After the Series III, Land Rover opted for coil springs for an improved ride, they updated the interior, modernised the exterior and widened the axles amongst other things meaning that their 4x4’s were no longer just works vehicles, but recreational too. This original, unrestored 90 County estate version features fold down rear seats and those iconic County decals on the exterior. It is fitted with the better of the engines available at the time, the 2.5 diesel turbo with a manual gearbox. It has factory County rear side windows and a front middle seat allowing seven people to ride in the truck. The Land Rover is running and driving but considered a project due to needing improvement and some body work attention. The green paint has light corrosion in places whilst the chassis could also do with some welding and at least one of the front strut towers could do with replacing. The interior also requires a good clean. Mechanically the vehicle seems to be sound with a strong engine, gearbox and healthy electrics; a perfect running project for an LR enthusiast. It was last MOT’d in 2021 and digital history shows mileage back to 85,000 miles. The sale includes a current V5 document showing just five previous owners.Estimate: £5,000 - £7,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. Viewing is welcome prior to sale and all cars are sold as seen, condition reports can be requested on each lot by contacting us direct. Lots are not available to buy prior to auction. 1964 Rover 110 P4Reg. no. 4660 KPChassis no. 76503536AEngine no. 76503635ATransmission: ManualProduction of the 110 version of the P4 ran for just two years between 1962 and 1964, with just over 4,500 made. Representing the end of an era for one of the UK’s well-loved family saloons they featured Rover’s lovely sounding 2.6-litre engine. This two-tone example was originally sold by a dealer in Maidstone, Kent. 4660 KP is in fantastic condition, having previously been restored to a high standard and there are just two previous owners on the logbook. The all-round condition would make any classic car enthusiast proud, and it seems to run and drive just as well. It even has a fresh MOT valid until January 2024 despite being exempt from requirement.Much of the restoration was carried out around 2013 including any rust cut from the shell and replaced with replacement panels which is documented through both images and paperwork in the history file. Many of the parts in this period were supplied by Bartram Land Rover of Accrington. A substantial amount of effort was also put into the paintwork with receipts included. The car still presents very well. In addition to a current logbook, the sale also includes the two history files which include other documents such as a heritage certificate, previous agreed valuations, old MOT certificates as well as parts and servicing receipts. The owners have evidently been part of the owners’ club during their journey with this vehicle.Estimate: please note that the vendor has requested that the estimate be changed to £7,000 - 8,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU. Land Rover Series 3 DormobileReg. no. JVV 265TChassis no. UnknownEngine no. TBCTransmission: Manual The Series III was the continuation of Land Rover’s ever popular all-terrain vehicle produced from 1971 – 1985. These 4x4s were offered in various guises based on the 88” and 109” chassis. This particular 109” has had the famous Dormobile conversion we believe carried out ‘in period’. There is a company that still today produce pop top camper conversions for the Land Rover market. The Dormobile converted SIII’s are both rare and sought after which means this Land Rover deserves a full restoration to achieve its proper value. This vehicle was found as part of a house clearance in Bristol and has been sat on a driveway for some time. It has suffered damage from a fire some years ago hence the melted windscreen and battery. Whilst the Dormobile top, interior cabinets, engine and gearbox are present, the bulkhead is rotted, and it requires a new floor amongst other things. With the values of these vehicles increasing and the majority of parts to restore it readily available, this is one for an enthusiastic Land Rover restorer to undertake. It is offered with a V5C.Estimate: £1000 - 1500Listing amendment:It was thought that a gearbox was mounted in the car but this is not the case. Just engine, axles, prop shafts and driveshafts are present. To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on March 5th at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU.
