•NINA COLMORE (1889-1973) A THOROUGHBRED MARE AND FOAL, PROBABLY THE PROPERTY OF LORD STALBRIDGE Signed and dated 47, oil on canvas 49.5 x 59cm. * Hugh Grosvenor, 2nd Lord Stalbridge (1880-1949), owned and trained a Grand National winner (Bogskar, 1940) and a winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup (Red Rover, 1945). He had come to the financial aid of Wincanton race course in the 1920's. Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Lord and Lady Stalbridge, Sussex ++ Good condition

A series one Land Rover with V8 engine PSL 446, first registered 1/3/1958, 3500 CC, petrol, chassis no 1118000707, registered as blue but now Coniston green. The Land Rover has a previously reconditioned V8 Rover engine. The Chassis and bulkhead have previous work / welding, interior lacking original seats and steering wheel, replaced steel dash. Remodelled wheel arches. Other work undertaken was: overhauled front axle and steering swivels, rear brakes with new cylinders and shoes, LWB rear drums fitted to front axle and exhaust fitted. Other works have been carried out. Purchased by the vendor on 20/10/2005 and driven to Shropshire from Scotland. The vehicle was running, however, it has been sitting idle for approx 10 years. With V5C registration document, copy of previous V5 and old MOT certificated and garage bills. A series 2A Land Rover BBL 169B, first registered 14/5/1964, 88 inch 4 cylinder engine, petrol, chassis no 24114533B. The vendor believes the vehicle to have a later type 5 bearing petrol engine with hardened valve seats so that it runs on unleaded petrol. New clutch fitted at the time of change and fitted with a Kenlowe fan. Parabolic springs and Pro Comp Explorer shock absorbers. Later seats and steering wheel which are none standard. The Land Rover was running ok but has been parked up for a few years. It has been started now and again with the crank. Sold with V5C registration document, some MOT's and bills. Accompanying the vehicle is a large set of wheels.
