- Extensively restored during the current 9-month ownership- £10,000 parts expenditure with supporting invoices and photographic record- 'Beautifully' restored and MOT'd until February 20171973 Land Rover Series 3 Air Portable/ Lightweight with only 45,792 miles on odometer, Army registration number of 46FL86. Subjected to an extensive restoration with a brand new galvanized chassis, new bulkhead, new vent panel, seats, hood, a complete respray in NATO green... the list goes on and on. The majority of the restoration has been sourced from original parts where available. Shanky Nato Hitch fitted, original split fold rear door. And working heater and demister! Having just two owners since decommissioning in 1985 the Land Rover has been painstakingly recreated, reflecting how the vehicle would have been while in MoD service. The parts spend was over £10,000 plus countless hours of labour. A spread sheet of all the replacement parts will be supplied with the vehicle. The Lightweight is ready to be enjoyed for many years yet to come. There have been a couple of additions to enhance the driveability of the vehicle including a fairy over drive in 3rd and 4th and free-wheeling hubs. Inertia reel seat belts have also been installed for additional driver and passenger safety. Full photographic evidence of the restoration will be supplied with the vehicle.

- 23,359 miles from new- In previous ownership from 1986 to 2016- Extensive history file complete with receipts reflecting expenditure and every MOTSold new by Patrick Motors of Sutton Coldfield and Registered on 31st Jamuary 1985 to Miss C Harris of Sutton Coldfield. The Metro returned to Patrick motors on 5th July that same year for its first service including oil and filter change at 1038miles.On the 1st February 1986 when the car was one year old, it was sold by private treaty to a Mr and Mrs Turton residing in Aldridge, West Midlands. Mr Turton took the Metro for its first MoT on the 1st March 1988 with 3346 miles now recorded. All MoT's present reflect the incremental annual mileage of only a few hundred miles each year to this day. The metro was always maintained by the same mechanic from 1992 including minor minor jobs overtime such as replacing the tailgate struts. All receipts have been retained and reflect the work carried out over the years.Within the history pack there are various receipts showing the care the Metro has received over its lifetime. The full handbook pack is present and correct as you would expect. The radio blanking plate is still present also as no stereo was required. In June 2016, the Metro was MoT'd once again and a new radius arm fitted at the same time. The Turton's then sold the car after 30 years of loving ownership.Still shining in its Arun White paintwork and carrying its supplying dealer window sticker and number plates the Metro still drives like they did back in the 1980's, still riding on its original metric wheel. The interior is clearly in beautiful and unmarked condition and would not look out of place displayed in an Austin Rover showroom today. It has recently received a new exhaust pipe and also has a Unipart battery fitted. At the time of the auction entry the miles recorded are 23359.

Rover 3500 P6 Automatic 1972 - Every now and then you see a car that makes you think” Where has that been all its life? This 1972 Rover P6 3500 is one of those cars. With only 72618 recorded miles on the clock and with a service history that fills its service book to back that up, it can only be described as Excellent in fact the exterior that is the only part of the car that has been restored is described by the vendor as “As New” a major claim for any car that is over 40 years old! Interior is completely original, the black leather is lovely and gives off that welcoming smell only old leather can give. While showing little or no wear but having that lovely and correct aged finish. All the electrics internally are correct and fully functioning as are the external electrics too. Mechanically all aspects again are described as “excellent” with the engine starting instantly, the big V8 up front still pulling as strongly as the day it left the factory and the Automatic gearbox changing smoothly and correctly. Coming with a current MOT this car is ready to go, would grace any ones collection or garage and represents a rare opportunity to buy a P6 this good.
