Lot 182

2001 Robin Hood 2B 2.0 Make: Robin HoodModel: Sub KYear: 2001Mileage: 4904VIN: 2B140318082000GDWConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: E671WCLTransmission: ManualRobin Hood Engineering Ltd was founded in 1980 appropriately enough in Sherwood, Nottinghamshire. It started out making Ferrari Daytona replicas based on the Rover SD1, along with Super Sevens after production by Lotus ended. The Robin Hood was introduced in 1989 using Triumph mechanicals. The monocoque style chassis was manufactured using a Triumph Dolomite or, later, Ford Cortina and Ford Sierra as a donor vehicle. The Robin Hood policy was for all the bits for a kit to come from a single donor vehicle, rather than a variety of different machines. A new style, more advanced chassis was adopted for the Robin Hood 2B of 1999, as here. This example was registered in August 2001, and has had three former registered keepers according to its V5C. 4905 miles are showing on its odometer, although this total isn't warranted. However, a check of the online history shows that at the first MoT for which there is any information (June 2006), the mileage was only 3302 miles, and annual use was minimal. The current MoT is valid until June 2023. The vendor purchased it after it had been stored in a garage for around five years after its previous lady owner passed away. He carried out a service, changing the plugs, leads, rotor cap, cambelt, thermostat, temperature sensor and oil, air and fuel filters, after which it was put through an MoT. The history folder contains just the V5C along with the current MoT certificate.

Lot 192

1971 Rover P6 2200 TC Make: Contact AuctioneerModel: Rover Year: 1971Mileage: 58260VIN: 44102503AConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: ABW186KTransmission: ManualAlthough shown on its V5C as with a 2205cc engine model, and now wearing 2200 TC badges, this Mexico Brown Rover P6, with black leather interior, sunroof and boot-mounted spare wheel, started life as a 2000 SC, being registered in August 1971, over two years before the twin-carb 2200 model was launched by Rover. The chassis plate denotes a home market Series 2 car, but the engine number is that of a 2.2-litre unit. It's unknown when any conversion or restoration was carried out, as the vendor purchased the car in 2017 with no history (save for the dealer stating that it had recently had a new clutch, reconditioned starter motor, new gear stick bushes, ignition switch, rear brake calipers and reconditioned main bearings in the gearbox). However, a colour change was recorded in March 2016. The vendor covered approximately 3000 miles in three years with no serious issues, but has not used the car for the last two years and now feels it would benefit from some light recommissioning, including a new bonnet release cable as the current one is broken. However, the vendor believes that the car is 'generally in good condition for its age and a very useable classic'. The P6's odometer shows 58,260 miles, although this isn't warranted. The Rover's last MoT expired in October 2019, although as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The paperwork file contains the V5C, old MoT certificates from 2016 to 2018 and a copy of the purchase invoice from 2018. There's also a Rover 2200 owner's manual.

Lot 250

1993 Land Rover 90 Defender TDMake: Land RoverModel: 90 Defender Year: 1993Mileage: 123086VIN: SALLDVAF7LA935644Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L319OEXTransmission: manualThis 1993 Defender 90 TD has seen mainly farm use and light towing, according to the vendor. Registered in October 1993, the vehicle has had just two registered owners in total from new, and is showing 123,086 miles on its odometer. The MoT is valid until June 2023. The vendor tells us that the Land Rover was given a galvanised chassis in 2020, plus new suspension, brakes, clutch and fuel tank at 119,709 miles (at a total cost of £9060). At 107,870 miles there was a new alternator, while 101,449 miles saw a fresh battery. The body, while sound, shows signs of age and use, with scratches as well as a shallow dent in the offside front wing. The history folder runs to the V5C and service book, which is stamped up to 12,112 miles in April 1995. The bills date back to 2010 and total £18,000. The MoT certificates date from 2021 right the way back to 1996 and so, in combination with the service book, warrant the mileage. The vehicle also comes with a spare set of keys. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 4TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Lot 253

1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE AutoMake: Land Rover Model: Range Rover HSE Year: 1999Mileage: 125400VIN: SALLPAMJ3XA429481Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: V710ELLTransmission: automatic This is the third P38 series of Range Rover Vogue, a special edition based on the HSE. There were just 150 examples in four different 'Micatallic' paints; of these 50 were Java Black, 40 Epsom Green and 30 each were Oxford Blue and Rioja Red (as here). All had Walnut leather piped with Lightstone and 18in Hurricane alloy wheels, plus extra wood trim from the Autobiography series on the centre console in the binnacle, by the window switches and heater. This example was registered in October 1999 and has five former registered keepers noted on its V5C. Its odometer shows 125,383 miles and it has an MoT valid until August 2023. The paperwork file includes the V5C, a large stack of invoices from throughout the car's life, and MoT test certificates from 2015 to 2022, plus a print-out of the online MoT summary back to 2005. There are photos of some body work being undertaken. The original book pack is present, with owner's manual, quick guide, radio code and service book stamped up to 114,414 miles in August 2020. A spare set of keys, with remote fob, also comes with the vehicle.

Lot 260

1994 Rover Metro Rio GrandeMake: Rover Model: Metro Rio Grande Year: 1994Mileage: 46000VIN: SAXXPFWEDAD908864Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: M769GFJTransmission: manualThis Snowberry White Rover Metro Rio Grande with grey cloth interior was registered in August 1994 and has had just one previous registered keeper from new, a lady owner who had the car up until 2021. The odometer displays 46,459 miles, and although this isn't warranted, it can be backed up to a large extent by the service history print-out from Central Garages in Brixham, Devon. This stretches back to 24,364 miles in July 2004. A print-out of the online MoT history back to 2006 also helps confirm the mileage. The current MoT is valid until November 2011. The Metro's spec includes a sunroof and central locking. The paperwork folder includes the V5C, Central Garages print-out, online MoT history print-out, current MoT certificate and a 2017 bill for £720 to repair the front bumper, headlamp and front wing. This damage resulted in a Category C Insurance Loss: Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable - Insurer Decided Not To Repair in March 2017. There's also the book pack with owner's handbook, recommended lubricants list, quick guide, radio instructions with code, and a spare key (plus an old AA key).
