1962 Land Rover Series 2a Pick Up Registration number EOO 504 Date of first registration 08/03/1962 Vin number: 24103214a Engine number: 25314526k Mot expiry date: 09/03/2018 V5C present listing 3 former keepers Current mileage shown: 54533 Petrol 2286cc 7;1CR Cream Recently completley restored to a very high standard incluidng new cream paintwork with silver trim and stainless steel overrider bumpers, with a current MOT. This is a lovely example of an early Land Rover ready to drive away. Buyer's premium of 10% (+VAT) applies to this lot The car is in excellent condition following its full recent restoration (research shows it was painted in March 2017) It has been kept mostly original except more modern chrome bumpers front and rear, the front having a scuff on the n/s and new wing mirrors. The wings are most likley later as they have holes with a rubber bung in presumably for side repeaters which this vehicle wouldn't originally have. There are two bits of filler on the brass radiator top. All wheels are good with Hankook Dynamic MT tyres the spare has a Marshal Powerguard AT tyre.

Mr Durkin ran the car until December 2001. The car was in storage for some years after and later purchased in 2013 by the current owner. The car ran but had no brakes therefore brakes were repaired, new exhaust fitted, cut out and dynamo were replaced which got it through the MOT the engine and carburretors were tuned some paint work was done where required. The car is in very good original condition and the interior has a lovely patina. It comes with original owners instruction manual, workshop manual some bills/receipts MOT's,spare keys and some spare parts.
