Die Sammlung beinhaltet feinmalerisch ausgeführte Kopien nach Joseph Karl Stieler (1781-1858). Gezeigt werden Porträts von: Maria Gräfin von Landsfeld, Maria Dietsch, Elisabeth List, Ludovika, Freiin von Neubeck, Caroline Gräfin von Holnstein, Amalie Freiin von Krüdener, Marianne Marquise Florenzi, Cornelia, Vetterlein, Charlotte von Hagn, Isabella Gräfin von Taufkirchen, Amalie von Schintling und Rosalie Julie von Bonar. Je mit Namenschild unter der Darstellung. Deutlich zu erkennen ist hier Stielers barockisierende Darstellungsweise die sich insbesondere in den üppigen Faltenwürfen der Kleider wiederfindet, welche der Kopist Kraft, über den weiter nichts bekannt ist, sehr schön wiederzugeben wusste. Ferner hervorzuheben sind die sehr fein ausgestalteten Frisuren und die fein schattierten Karnationen. - Rahmen teils mit kleinen Defekten, ein Glas gesprungen. Zeichnungen teils etwas angestaubt, einige wenige mit unauffälligen Sporflecken. Farben sehr gut erhalten. Collection of 12 miniature portrait paintings. Late 19th century. Each gouache on bone. Each signed. Framed in two wooden frames under glass (unopened). - The collection contains finely painted copies after Joseph Karl Stieler (1781-1858). Shown are portraits of: see above. Each with a name plate below the depiction. Stieler's baroque style of depiction is clearly recognisable here, especially in the luxuriant drapery of the dresses, which the copyist Kraft, about whom nothing else is known, was able to reproduce very beautifully. Also worthy of mention are the very finely worked out hairstyles and the finely shaded flesh tones. - Frame partly with small defects, one glass cracked. Drawings partly a little bit dusty, a few with inconspicuous spotting. Colours very well preserved.

2nd Life Guards Attributed Waterloo and Military General Service MINIATURE Medal Pair. This pair are attributed to Captain Alexander McInnes of the 2nd Life Guards who oil painting portrait by Ramsay Richard Reinagle hangs in the National Army Museum London. Comprising: Military General Service Medal, clasp Vittoria, Waterloo Medal. These have been attractively mounted into a Spink quality Mahogany table frame. This frame would have at one time housed the full size medals and were mounted with a Victorian Life Guards pouch badge and a representation of the portrait. The miniature medals are unnamed. Frame Size 11 x 9 inches. Captain Alexander McInnes portrait is probably the most recognised of the period depicting an Officer of the Life Guards Waterloo Period. He was appointed a Cornet of the 2nd Life Guards in 1809, he became a Lieutenant in 1810 and Captain whilst serving in the Peninsula in 1813. Resigning his commission in 1814 he rejoined with the rank of Cornet and fought with the Regiment at Waterloo and took part in Uxbridge’s charge against d’Erlon’s corps. In 1821 he took the surname Nicholson by Royal Licence. He died in 1862 aged 82. PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER ONLY
