Rx: Justinian standing facing, wearing loros and crown, holding cross potent on step and akakia. Sear 1256. DO 14. MIB 16. Much better struck than usual for this issue. The portrait of Christ is exceptionally sharp, and even the miniature portrait of the emperor on the reverse is recognizable. Some die breaks and die wear. Mint State.
