A Victorian silver oval pendant locket with foliate engraved decoration, a blue enamelled oval portrait miniature frame converted for use as a locket, a silver oval hinged bangle with feathered scroll engraved decoration, on a snap clasp, Birmingham 1961, a silver pendant cross, a shell cameo ring, four further rings, and a pair of marcasite set earclips.
A set of three mid 19th century watercolour miniature portraits of male characters inscribed General Sir Charles Napier, Lord Seaton and Richard Napier, one further inscribed G Jones RA 10 x 9 cm approx, in gilt frames together with a 19th century silhouette portrait in shell encrusted frame and a relief moulded portrait of an 18th century style gentleman (both framed)
MABEL LEE HANKEY "Head and shoulder portrait of a lady", a miniature oil on ivory, signed and in silver frame (London 1903, by Charles and Walter Paget) and original case (believed to be of Lady Jane Seymour Combe), 9 cm x 7 cm CONDITION REPORTS The oval silver frame has some wear and scuffs, the hallmarks and makers marks have some rubbing. Frame hallmarked London 1903 by C & WPt (Charles and Walter Paget). Folding travelling case is quite worn and fabric is very deteriorated and frayed. Oval miniature portrait itself appears to be in good condition.
19TH CENTURY ENGLISH SCHOOL "Oriental gentleman with long grey beard", a miniature portrait study, oil on ivory with gilt highlights, 7 cm x 5.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Paper to back of frame has been torn away. There is currently some scrunched up paper glued to the back of the picture. Painting has quite a lot of wear and most of the right side of the face has been worn away. Overall wear and scuffs.
Film,Music and Theatrical Autograph Album, C.1930s/40s. Album containing the autographs of a range of actors, actresses, musicians, conductors, entertainers and nobility, sometimes with additional goodwill comments or musical notation with words. Individuals featured include : Sybil Thorndike, Thomas Beecham, Sandy McPherson, Charles Groves, Duke of Bedford, Charles Groves, Louis Kentner, Gilbert Harding, Clementine, Randolph & Sarah Churchill, Carl Dometsch, Yehudi Menuhin, Henry Wood, Myra Hess, Adrian Boult, John Laurie, Marie Goosens, Gerald Moore. Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh and John Gielgud feature with autographed portrait photographs. Other signatures are from complete string quartets. There are also a number of other indecipherable signatures which have an ostentatious flourish and may therefore be significant! Finally some pages also feature miniature watercolours, sketches and portraits together with a hand-embroidered silk of H.M.S. Dorsetshire. The provenance of the album is not certain but it seems probable that the original owner was a resident in Bedford during the 1940s which is where the BBC transferred some of its operations and that the autographs were obtained locally. CONDITION REPORT: Binding poor, needing repair. Contents vg.,Please see additional images. There are a small quantity of photos in the album which are photographic postcards, most of them are loose but one is 'stuck down', the Vivien Leigh autograph is signed on a page which has then been stuck into the album

Ovale, 4,8 x 4,6 cm Fente verticale à gauche du portrait. Montée en broche en or et métal doré, entourée de 48 demi-perles, fond en nacre (manque l’épingle), 5,4 x 4,5 cm. On y joint un portrait de Femme brune en robe bleue à guimpe blanche tuyautée, début du XIXe siècle, miniature sur ivoire, 5,8 x 4,9 cm, cerclée de laiton.
