An early 20th century portrait miniature of a lady with a lapdog, all within a piano ivory frame. Overall 13.5 cm x 11.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a 2.8 cm horizontal fine split to the top right-hand panel. There is a 1 cm fine horizontal split to the bottom right-hand panel. There are two small splits to the bottom left-hand panel, all of these should be visible on our website. Looking closely at the lapdog it looks like some of the white gouache on its forehead is missing but on close inspection this seems to be deliberate. Generally in good order with but a few faults.
9ct Gold Jewellery, including 9ct gold cameo brooch, screw earrings and ring size K, together with miniature oval portrait brooch depicting a young girl, (untested with a surface crack) approx 42 x 32 mm, a 9ct Gold Signet Ring, 9ct Locket (b & f) blue stone bar brooch andand a 9ct gold agate brooch, total weight approx 29 gms.
Dorothy Turton RMS, "Henrietta Maria (circa 1609-69)" and a Gainsborough style beauty, each monogrammed and mounted in ebonised frames and embossed metal mount and suspension ring, a further portrait miniature of a child initialled DAG, and a portrait miniature of a young lady in profile, inscribed verso Harriet Stockdale, daughter of the late Reverend J Stockdale... this likeness was taken in 1822. 6.5 cm x 5 cm.

A 19th century Hanau silver mounted ovoid locket by Gebruder Dingeldein. Decorated with Watteaesque figures and opening to reveal a moss agate tablet and ivory portrait miniature of a lady wearing a black feathered hat and choker. Punch marks, 6cm. Condition report intended as a guide only.Missing a small amount of serrated holding triangles front and rear. No other issues. Clasp functioning.
