A 19th century gilt metal box Of hinged oval form, the lid set with a miniature portrait on ivory of a young lady wearing pearl earrings; together with a small miniature portrait of a young lady with roses. The former 7.5 cm wide. (2) CONDITION REPORTS: Some gilt wear, lid slightly mis-fitting, small area of wear to portrait, general wear.

James Lyster, Rector of Oldbury; one of Richard Lyster of Rowton Castle; and an enamel miniature of Charles Morgan, father of Mrs Lyster, inscribed to verso, framed as one. 3.5 x 3 cm, 3.6 x 3 cm and 4.2 x 3.8 cm respectively (19.5 x 16.5 cm overall).
