Carl Bauer, German miniature novelty globe, early 19th century 'The World with its Inhabitants', the globe, 4cm approx. and a hand-coloured series of portrait engravings of native people in concertina form, boxed. Annotated in German, Australia as Niu Holland, monogram The ERDE in Kleinen, C.B., made up of twelve printed gores. CONDITION REPORT: There are 27 portrait engravings in the box, the first being glued to the bottom of the box by a flap.
