Naval Interest Pictures and Prints. Jellicoe John (1859-1935) 1st Earl Jellicoe. British Admiral of the Fleet who commanded the Grand Fleet at the Battle of Jutland in May 1916 during WWI. The photograph depicts Jellicoe standing in half-length pose wearing his naval uniform. The photograph inscribed in pencil 'With all good wishes from your old team mate' Jellicoe. This lot includes a portrait miniature of Admiral Nelson depicted half-length in naval uniform approx 9 x 7 cms and eight miniature black and white profile portraits of military personnel, framed and glazed. Furthermore four marine prints of ships and four black and white prints entitled 'A History of Naval Architecture' published by Whittaker & Co including 'The Royal George', The Waterloo', 'The Howe' and Genoese Carrack' all prints framed and glazed.
