Early 19th Century British school, Portrait miniature of Anne Esther Duguid (nee Mackinlay), watercolour on ivory, inscribed in ink to the reverse, 8cms x 6.3cms, in a gilt metal slip and ebonised strut back frame by Walter Jones, Sloane Street. 14cms high overall Footnote; Anne Esther Duguid was born in London 7th September 1804 and died in Buenos Aires 17th May 1837. Together with her daughter, siblings and father she is buried in St John's Anglican Cathedral Buenos Aires.
