A Victorian ivory pin case, carved in the form of a barrel, 1in., Victorian painted ivory dice shaker in the form of a wine bottle, containing three tiny dice, miniature Shibayama box, carved ivory portrait bust of a lady, mother of pearl photograph frame, portrait miniature pendant in yellow metal mount, engraved 9ct. gold lancet and a carved stone lion
ENGLISH SCHOOL "Admiral Horatio Nelson", in naval regalia, portrait miniature, head and shoulders, unsigned, oval, 7 cm x 6 cm, within an ebonised rectangular frame with acorn and leaf gilt metal mount CONDITION REPORTS Overall with some general wear. Portrait is sealed within the frame and has not been removed for inspection. Under UV light the edgings to collar and to epaulettes show up dark, as do areas around the neck and some outlining areas to sleeves etc. The thickness of the paint around the lapels, collar and neck and epaulettes also are quite thickly painted.
