A George III mahogany tripod table, on a birdcage support, 71 cm diameter Provenance: From Capard House, Loais, Ireland Condition report Report by RBTop detachedReport by GHTop generally scratched and with nicks, marks and a couple of small damages. The top is slightly warped. Top appears to match the base. Birdcage mechanism, column and legs generally appear to be in good condition. Legs do not have any signs of splicing or repairs. Underside of legs has a three sided metal plate. The arched piece of wood which holds the top onto the birdcage mechanism appears to be slightly split and doesn't quite sit flush with the top. This is just on one side. Overall presents well.
