Each appear to be held with a nut to the underside of the base. All brackets supporting the compass are in good undamaged condition, but two have some slight play. The Niello to all parts appears to be intact. The engraved detail is good. There appears to be a historic solder repair to the lower part of the bracket supporting the globe. There is a circular area above this cutting through a flowerhead to one side and leaves to the other - this might suggest the loss of an element.  Weight - 1.020 kg / 32.79ozs
