Noritake Twin Handle Footed Vase Of waisted baluster form, turquoise factory stamp to base, raised on tripod feet with twin curlicue handles, the body profusely decorated in sage, powder blue, cream and iron red oriental floral pattern with gilt trim. Height, 7 1/2 inches - some rubbing to gilt at handles and rim and very small hairline crack to top rim.
A 3 inch refracting lacqured brass telescope by Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co, London:, the 36 1/2 inch black lacquer main tube with rack and pinion focus, signed as per title to backplate , together with two eyepieces and a solar shade in an overpainted pine box, the top inscribed 'Mr G Colman -Green MRST LCC', together with a War Department issue tripod.*Notes- This telescope was used by Mr Colman-Green atop Norwich Castle during WWII for aircraft spotting.
A brass compound telescope by Negretti & Zambra, London:, signed as per title to tube:, the 3 1/2 inch tapering main tube with black leather covering and rack and pinion focus, together with a lacquered brass tripod stand, overall length 146cm. (some wear to leather and small dent to main tube)
A Chinese silver pounce pot probably late 19th/early 20th century, the cylindrical pot raised on tripod feet, the base with screw opening for powder, repouss‚ decorated to circumference with figures bearing gifts, the top with ornate decorated piercings terminating with knop finial, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, together with a Chinese dragon silver spoon (tests as 800 quantity silver), the terminal as dragon feasting on a human, 4«in. (11.4cm.) long, gross weight 4.0 tr.oz. *Condition: both pieces in excellent condition.
