A Stunning And Very Fine Mid Victorian Solid Silver Figural Centrepiece Of Wonderful Proportions Maker James Charles Edington, hallmarked, London 1862. In the form of a semi naked winged angel figure, clothed in draped robes from the waist down, holding a palm tree to left hand. Raised on a stunning ornate and embossed tripod base. Stands 19 inches high. Condition is excellent. The glass bowl which sits on top of the palm tree is missing and there is an inscription to the base. This can be easily removed if required. No damage dings or repairs to the rest. Wonderful condition and a great example of Silversmith Charles Edington. Weight 53 ozs.
