A LARGE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EXTENDING PEDESTAL DINING TABLE, the heavy top supported on a single circular tapering pedestal, opening to three extra leaves, the pedestal raised on a tripod base with scrolling feet, castors, H 73 cm, L 277 cm (extended), W 133 cm A/F Condition Report:Faded through out. Old worm damage to the pull out supports.
A George III oak tripod table, with snap action, turned centre column and three downswept legs terminating in pad feet. Diameter 70 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Height 68 cm. The table top is not warped it does however have old brass bracing hoops to the sides of each plank join. The table is sturdy and the snap top operates as it should. The centre column is in good order as are two of the three legs. One has had an old spliced break near the foot but this is barely visible and the table is structurally sound.
A Regency mahogany tripod table, the top of shaped outline supported by a turned column and with three downswept legs terminating in brass roller castors. Width 62.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Height 68.5 cm. The condition of the table is generally good. It is structurally solid. The top is flat and not warped. There are minor old surface scratches and scuffs but no significant issues. The centre column is in good order as are the three legs which have the original castors. There are no breaks.
A George III mahogany tripod occasional table, with oval top with snap action to turned centre column with three downswept legs. Length 61 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The top is flat and not warped. There are various old scratches and marks but the colour is generally good. The snap top operates as it should. The centre column is in good condition. The legs are structurally sound although one has had a very old dowelled repair which is barely visible. The table could be used in its current condition without the need for any work. The table height is 68 cm.
A George III mahogany tripod table, circular, with snap action to turned and carved column and raised on three downswept legs terminating in claw and ball feet. Diameter 76 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Height 70.25 cm. The top is not warped. The top has been re-polished in recent years with a type of French polish and the top surface is generally a little scratched. The snap action has been replaced with a modern bolt. The centre column is in good order as are the three downswept legs. The column and legs have their original patination and are undamaged.
A George III, 3" mahogany and brass tabletop telescope with folding mechanical tracking tripod, various eyepieces and in a brass bound mahogany case, the lid with a paper label 'Mathematical Society Spitalfields'. Number 1523. Condition Report: Original, worn used condition. Image of view included. Top of box 113 x 23 and depth is 13 cm. No makers mark on the telescope, only on the box.
